@lolerbabop Crf450r dry weight = 228 pounds. Cr500 dry weight, 238 pounds. Crf450r makes around 50-52 horsepower stock. The CR500 makes about 55 stock. Take handling into account and the 450 completely destroys the old 2 stroker. 500's are cool for bragging rights and everything, but I'd much rather ride a CR250 or Crf450.

@ktmmxer131 I Think they're trying to cater more to the types of people that are going to leave the bikes mostly stock and ride it the way it is. The mx51's are more than sufficient for any terrain, but like you stated, anyone knows that someone who is serious about riding is having the suspension revalved and resprung for them anyway.

@ktmmxer131 bro the tire this bike come with are what the pros us dunlop mx51 and most 250 riders are betwween 150 to 185 to they get the suspension close to right around that area. ur dumb and getting more suspension work to get it set up perfect is like 2500. i have had it done and yes it helps but most people dont have all that extra cash so thats why the factory spends so much time on that area
