Provided you use the correct Zelda Exploit (RZD) file, appropriate to the disc you're using, my guess is that it will work.

However please note I'm NOT guaranteeing anything as there may be conflict between the USA zelda exploit file and Japanese components of the Wii.

Am I right in thinking the modification only changes how the DVD drive verifys discs, as opposed to changing how the whole console "thinks"?

The Gamecube version uses a Gamecube memory card.

Well the files for this hack take up very little space but you will need space for the games you want to install. I suggest you find the games and download them first so you have an idea of what size you need. Im sure 1GB will be plenty though.

I used Camtasia Studio to record this. There are free trials for it but just search on youtube how to get the full version for free.
