  • ..... However, people who migrate to another country not out of necessity but, I dunno, out of pleasure or whatever and then don't even try to integrate - those are a threat to a country. And they are, I believe, in the minority. They just seem to be the majority because the media only reports these cases. Nobody is interested in a successful integration story. People only want to read and hear about scandals and such. Which is sad.

(finally, this is the end ^^)

  • @AuroraBorealis1990 Yes I do agree with the asylum seekers, that they are forced to leave their homes and go an alien country. Some of these so called asylum seekers are false and just make up stories to gain entry. I do give immigrants some slack, but when they come with their false sense of entitlements and teach their kids to hate the west and not assimilate is what gets me mad. I wish those who harm the west to leave and go back to their so called beautiful hell holes.

  • ..... more often than not they don't even speak the language and what not else... That is a very difficult fate I could imagine. And I do think one has to cut these people some slack, give them time to adjust and give them every opportunity and every help one can to do so. .....

  • ..... and I can understand that they find it difficult to adjust to the different circumstances, the different culture, society, different rules etc. I do think you have to cut them some slack: they had to leave their lives behind, everything they ever had (in most cases they only have a backpack full of their earlier possessions with them), their entire former existence is destroyed, they're in a country that they don't know, that works in ways they don't understand, .....

  • As a Christian I also feel that the Western countries are too afraid of Islam. However their is a difference between culture and religion.

  • I think you've forgotten that the English ruled India and were very racist to the Indians in their own country. England ruled nearly half the world at one time and during which I've never heard or read in history that they forgot their English heritage and culture. So why should foreigners treat whites differently! I'm afraid the hypocracy was started by the West who came to loot and steal from India and Africa.. Problems have escalted in 3rd world countries cause of the WEST. READ YOUR HISTORY

  • @mehetel Yes, they did rule India, they also gave us the English language, Railways, Postal System, Civil services,Irrigation system etc...Britishers contribution may not be proportional to what they have taken, but in retrospect, they did give us something.

  • @rambabu84 You reminded me of the scene in Monty Pythons The Life Of Brian when Brian and his friend were dicussing what the Romans had gave them, buildings, roads, ets. . . Quite amusing really. I guess a lot of countries were built with foreign help. In the case of the British in India, that's the least they should of done. Giving back all the loot, money , diamonds etc, now that would of been something. But they needed the foreign fortune for UK economical growth!

  • @rambabu84 I feel sorry for you because you are one of those people who like to kiss Western people's ass. Being an Indian you should feel ashamed to say the British gave you Railways, English language, etc. The Railway was built by Indians for British business, army ,etc. All the things they did they did for themselves. You stupid man. I'm not Indian but I can see why the British could divide and rule India because of stupid people like you. Indian history and language is deeper then English etc

  • pip (or pippa) isn't that short for phillipa ?

  • Love Joan Hickson as Miss Marples she brings justice to the role noone will ever be able to replace her!!!

  • I cannot believe in that old and skinny woman would have this strength!

  • @BlueLarkFly Me too. She looks like she cannot hurt a fly.

  • Hannahs scary :|

  • Aha! I've guessed the murderer again. Four out of four isn't bad.

  • Ms. Easterbrook looks like barbie gone wrong

  • 08:02 to 08:16....holy fart they took their time.

  • when the maid gets all upset she kinda looks like the grinch.

  • W???? The maid just said who did it!

  • in the novel she was blackmailing the person

  • LOL. I thought of that. In the book, the maid is sort of scummy. In the show, the maid is the hero!

Its tough to read even incredible books from previous eras sometimes because of how classist, racist, and generally unfair peoples attitudes used to be. Thats one of the reasons I find the tv shows easier to enjoy. Agatha Christie wasn't as bad as Doyle, but she still had definite attitudes towards foreigners and servants. Its fun to see the writers of the show turn that around on her.

  • @lollipopfop Now it is the other way round. Foreigners are racist to the whites in their own countries. Example present day UK, US and Canada. Also, if the refugee woman complains about the English people, then she can always go back to her own country and be persecuted there. This is for the third world people who come to the west as asylum seekers and then act like their countries that they fled from are better than the west. Hypocrites.

  • @calihartley2010

I second your opinion/view, I am from India living in US and have noticed the same attitude amongs the foreigners...they consider demanding privileges and facilities as their birth right when they have not been able to get the freedom to breath fresh air in their own country!!!

I hope the west realises this anamoly and stops this idiotic immigration.Period.

  • @rambabu84 Thank you. I guess the west needs smart people like you who are willing to assimilate and help it to grow, instead of the scum that enter and ruin it with their false sense of entitlement.

  • @calihartley2010

In this regard, I have great respect for one of the greatest reformers the world has ever seen, Mr.Mikhail Gorbachev, his statement still resonates every day."The biggest threat to Russia is not US or NATO, but the fundamentalist Muslims living in Russia"!!!

The west needs just one leader/visionary who is bold enough to sacrifice his/her political career for the betterment of the west...any delay,WEST will only be a geographical term!!!

  • @rambabu84 I agree. The politicians in the west are all cowards. The only politician I have respect for is from Australia. The primeminister there told the muslims off and also those people who were not assimilating. David Cameron is trying to do the same in England but he needs to be more brave. Angel Merkel from Germany too has openly voiced he opinions about multiculturalism.

  • @calihartley2010 An old news clipping"News clipping in DC dated21-11-04,page13.

Right wing parliament member GEERT WILDERS gestures during an interview in The Hague,Netherlands on Nov 19.GEERT,one of the most popular politicians in the Netherlands, said the country's democracy is under threat and called for a five year halt to non-western immigration in the wake of thekilling of Theo Van Gogh...continued....

  • @calihartley2010 Contd...a film maker who had produced a television drama critical of how women are treated in some mslim societies.he said the Netherlands must weed out radical Islam or face the collapse of democracy."We should not import a retarded politicl Islamic society to our country. There is nothing to be ashamed of to say this," he said."

  • @calihartley2010 Search for this article "Dutch far right gains in EU vote: exit polls" YT is not accepting the link...I get error message.

  • @calihartley2010 I guess you need foreign dogs who just say yes to your country and don't want to question this countries history and it's involvement in other foreign countries today.

Most of the 'scum' that have come into UK have come legally unlike the British scum who invaded, raped and looted other nations.

You need to face reality. This country needs foreiners. it's just unfortunate that a lot of foreiners have forgotten their history. People like you just need dogs.

  • @mehetel Well if you have sympathy for these people then go and live in their countries. If you are a foreigner living in the west and have that false sense of entitlement which you sure do, then get the hell out. I never said that people need to be like dogs. Just be grateful that they are in the west and that the west has offered to let them in and be a part of the nation. So please stop with your liberal crap and understand what I am saying.

  • @calihartley2010 Fair enough, I hear you. However I'm not sure which countries you mean to go back to. Could you please enlighten me?

  • @calihartley2010 I have to say that I partly agree and partly disagree with you. I do think that people who migrate to another country only to form a sub-culture in that country with their fellow migrates could just as well (or, rather, much better) stay at home in their original country.

But there are people who flee from persecution, asylum-seekers who probably never wanted to leave their home country in the first place - .....

  • Thanks alot! :) Love this BBC adaptation and the late Ms Joan Hickson. Appreciate your efforts!

  • Thanks for posting this. Love it

  • Joan Hickinson is dead? I thought she just retired!
