Once you tear, your never going to be the same. I tore both ligaments when I was 18, at that time I was told that I would have to have Knee Replacements by the time I was in my early 30's...however I made sure to workout and keep my weight down, and now I am turning 43 and will probably have the surgery when I am in my late 40's. Be kind to your knee's, I assure that no matter what kind of fun your having now its not worth the pain and trouble you will have in later years !!

I play soccer, so I would like to know if after that surgery I would be able to play again

Personally, I'm happy as hell I'm getting something like this done in a couple days...I'm sure it would be better if I didn't tear it in the first place and didn't have to go through this procedure, but it's either that or go through this annoying ass pain in my left knee everyday...no thanks on that one.

man i'm going to get my knee checked next tuesday, feb 19. all the docs i seen so far have been sayinf that this is what my problem is, hope not but it's looking that way, sorry to hear about everyone else, and wish me luck
