i had to put my cat to sleep on Feb. 3rd 2011 and reading this made me think of her even though she was 20 years old and at deaths door i didnt want her to suffer and i hope she doesnt think poorly of me. ( cries )
:o i hate people that at first they love the dog and then they get merried and leave the dog in the pound. i mean i would never take my dog to the pound if i had to sleep in the streets so be it... but id never take my dog to the pound.
i got to keep him. when i turned 10 he was 8 and old and my adopted parents didnt like dogs but they let me keep him one day i went to school and after school samuel ( my foster dad) picked me up and i had wondered why when we got home jake was gone and so was deb ( foster mom)
i wondered what was going on so i asked and they put jake down!
i had a dog named Jake he was a Australian shepherd he was the best dog in the world i got him as a birthday present at age 2 he was 3 months old my mom had no idea about this and screamed at my dad so my dad left. my mom was going to go outback and shoot him but i didnt let her he was so small and innocent i screamed on the top of my lungs of fear for this dog when my neighbors heard they called child protective services they came and tried to take me away without him i didnt let them so

I remember my ol' dog, russy. we used to play and he's the only one that i can talk to because i'm a very lonely child but one day i was at collage and my mom said that russy has been chewing shoes since i've left and always comes out at morning trying to wait for me....when i cam back to russy he looked so old since i've got a job now i couldn't play with him and so ignored him when he wanted to play catch..he passed away after 2 days when i saw him die he had a tennis ball on his mouth... :(
Oh I love this its from a book by Jim willis called pieces of my heart :) really is the best dog story ever he even took out a 7,000 $ page full page in the news paper he is really the best righter ever a voice for the voiceless if you will

This made me cry reminding me of my husky mikey, who is long gone maybe in the same world as this dog is if he was found by somone before the needle found him. My mom sold him while i was at school. Once i found out i looked at my mom as tears streamed down my cheeks "I thought you loved me" Now she is never geting me a dog. She even said it to me in my face. RIP MIKEY <3

These videos upset the hell out of me but they also make me that more determined to keep doing the work I do each and every day. I post and re-post and cross-post sweet loving souls like this in hopes that I might save a soul or two every now and then. And I try to keep hoping that I make a difference.

No! Fuck this. Last time i read a bunch of stories like this(including this one) i took out a pic of my dog and cried a little and couldn't cheer myself up for like an hour.
I drop off a dog at an animal shelter once . it was a free dog but it was too bog for my apartment . when its fully grown it would be 60 pounds . my apartment only allow dogs under 25 pounds . but this video was interesting .
I was crying so hard! I rushed out to hug my dog after watching this. He tried to climb on me to comfort me when he saw my tears. Just proves that dogs really do care and want to make it all better for us. I love him so much!!
those guys are like most of the people here in my country...most are worse bec they eat dogs...and some does not mind if they ran over one on the street...i remember when i was a kid and i was looking for my dog and couldnt find it sumone told me he crossed the street...i ran into the moving traffic just to look for him...never found him though but nearly got into an accident

I cried so much reading this... I had to have my beautiful, fun loving bull terrier euthanised 9wks ago, he had aggressive terminal cancer. I was devastated still am, always will be, I loved him so much. How can anyone do something like this to their pet is beyond my understanding. I hope maybe some people who are thinking of giving their pets away will see this and have a change of heart....
