I won't have an ID card, I don't want my sensitive info on some dodgy computer system. If you force ID cards on people it does void your right to democracy, then what will happen next, you'll end up with some GSM tracking device surgically implanted in your body which will send signals via for examble the mobile phone network to home office. Mr X's current location is down the local pub, thats what would happen start at ID and become an obsession to this government. I won't stand for it myself!

Wow, and I thought the US government was TOO involved in our personal lives. It looks like you Brits will have to use your ID card just to shit someday. They will have a much tougher time implementing these here in the states, we were suppose to have mandatory NID cards by June of this year, hasn't happened, yet.
