this game looks great and the gameplay seems way better than previous SC games (tournament worthy) but not having a strategy guide for this game is a big NO. all fighting games need stradegy guides, knowing the frame data is the key to fighting at your fullest potential. oh well mk9 fucked up just as bad by printing a preety book with no frame data.

I'm guessin equipment effects are out of this game. lol I kinda liked them in SC4. they were fun especially when using them in the offline editor. You can make some really challenging over powered opponent that you yourself wont be able to beat if the AI uses him.

But that was with a hack tool though so i guess its not a completely fair comparison since in the actual SC4 game you cant. :P

I laugh at people who complain about using the controller as an arcade pad. It works well when there are primarily four action buttons for a fighting game. Cause I do it all the time too.

@Generations1st Well, consider this. Taki's and Rock's styles are more or less still in the game (Natsu and Astaroth) - while there may be a few differences, you can still use the now much more powerful Create a Soul system to recreate either Taki or Rock, if you so wish. Or any other character with those styles. It's not 100% the same, but SCV's combat and overall features seem much more appealing than SCIV's.

Last Soul Calibur what I played was Soul Calibur 2 on PS2 and it wasn´t that fun to play. there was matches where you need to beat 5 opponents with one character and one health, it was fun as visiting dentist. I used Action replay max without remorse for a such bullshit. If AI is allowed to cheat so do I.
