i try the same antenna and i can work from 40 meters band to 10 meters, i can see nto receive well on 15 meters, only big signals, the others bands i can work europe on 40 meters, Japan on 20 meters, Usa on 17, Indonesia on 12 meters on 10 meters also i can work outside europe with not big problems, all with a Icom 738 and kenwood 440S, 73 i2/lu5adk,leonardo
How do you find the A99 with the Fireup extension? I use mine /p on all of the bands you mentioned, I use an FT-857D with an FC30 tuner. It does not like 20m or above at all. So far worked NA, SA and Caribbean on all bands (mainly 10m) apart from 17m. Not the most popular antenna with a certain forum I use but for the portability of it and the fact I paid peanuts for it it works fine.
Love the antenna, I have had mine on the roof for 13 years still working great.

Thanks. Picked up the Ringo at a Rally a few months ago.
