Fail-Save: The receiver for the RC signal, which is used to control the plane movements, doesn't get enough signals. Without Fail-Save the plane would move randomly. With Fail-Save you can program "motor off, rudders neutral" or like in my case adding a little bit elevator so the plane is flying upwards a bit with motor off.

Mal abgesehen von dem hakeligen und zappeligen Flugstil, jedes Video das man mit dem Suchwort "FPV GoPro" findet, schlägt die hier gebotene Videoqualität um Längen. Da scheint wohl jemand an "leichter" Selbstüberschätzung zu leiden... Die Videos sind nett für einen Anfänger, aber mit diesem Material würde ich den Ball doch eher flach halten und mit Videotiteln wie "2nd best FPV" Video sparsam umgehen.

Frage: Der MVX wiegt immerhin ca. 500g, wäre eine Kamera die auf SDKarte aufnimmt nicht leichter? Du scheinst das Video am Boden auf zu zeichnen. Wäre es auch möglich das Video parallel onboard auf zu nehmen? Würde das nicht die Qualität verbessern?

Ich würde auch gerne ein FPV System mit Oktocopter aufbauen, aber am liebsten mit einer Spiegelreflex Kamera. De Fugzeiten mit Fläche sind natürlich schon super.

My dear friend, as many of the audience here I´m just one more heli enthusiastic. I´ve been flying for about 10 months and really interested in a FPV experience, but as far as I know the pan/tilt camera mount usually needs 2 channels (even with a ppm mixer, the receiver must have 2 slots, right ?) and the GPS system another 2.

So my guess is that I need at least a 8 channel radio, am I right ?

By the way, really nice footage, I´m impressed.
