My dad died at 46 from a cerebral thrombosis, I am 44...now, wishing he had had the knowledge and health conscious peeps like you Lisa, but he's at peace now.

What happens when the blood gets too thin that we need vitamin k?

@quitejaded Yes meditation is a beautiful way to fall asleep. In terms of your question, the doctors want my blood to be thin so that it has a better chance to flow through the clot. So he is on Coumadin and a higher intake of Vitamin K messes with the efficacy of that medication...
