@BombsAway999 It's a mod that gives you (almost?) all unflyables, plus MUCH more. There's this added aircraft, the Giles Magister, Messerscmhitt 109 B1, E1, E2, and E3, many more versions of the Spit, New Tempest variants, the Typhoon, Korean War aircraft, such as a few variants of the F-86, the MiG-15, F-80, F-84, etc. Plus, all the newest sounds and bullet/explosion mods, all in one!! Check it out!! :-D
@BombsAway999 It's called Ultr@pack 2.01 (The @ is intentional). It's a little hard to find the original, as most sites have updated versions of it, such as UP 2.01n, and have deleted the original mod. The downside is that you need the original mod to upgrade. It'll take some searching, but Google it and you'll eventually find it. Also, you need to patch up to 4.09m first. It's not compatible with 4.08m.
i have a ?.... i graged the aaa mod into the main il-2 sturmovic 1946 folder and everything copyed to it then i go to play it and the first menu comes up and its in russian and only loads two 5%.... then it closes after like 10 seconds... some2 please help
It's like a cross between a Tiger Moth and Stampe SV4b, it has Stampe wings, ailerons fuselage and cowling, a Tiger Moth fin and rudder and Stampe tailplanes, just swept back. The struts are more reminiscent of something off a Boeing PT17 Stearman. It still looks like fun to fly though.
copy and paste the normal aircraft and double the aircrafts files, and when you start up the game and it says aircraft is duplicated or the same files, just change the aircraft CFG so that they dont match.

Some people have quit playing outright due to the contraversy, and a number of servers will block players with modded games from playing. My solution is two installs, one with your mods on it (for single player) and one vanilla copy for online play.

He gave me good-natured flak (figuratively speaking, lol) about it for the rest of the night.
BTW, this is off topic, but I just recently backdated my install to remove the sound mod (even after the fix the british ranks were still in russian), and now...
my camera constantly looks over my right shoulder. When I recenter it, it just jumps right back after a few seconds. I checked my control settings all normal, ruled out hardware error, no idea what's going on... I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice and it still does it. On a creepier note even though I manually deleted every copy I know about of my old user profile it still shows up in the game... What gives, where's the game finding it???
Yes, your right about that as well, there are more things that are not realy like they suposed to be, like the Magneto switches in the instrument panel (0_o)?? :P but its fun.
