@ThunderofBabylon ya, simple as medium tanks were the strongest tanks, now we got neo tanks and mega tanks... gettin so crazy that no one needs a medium tanks anymore
This is on a gameboy colour. A portable thing that is tiny. It's very old and can't hold that much detail on it. This is a very good game for the GBC IMO.
AW series installments, you mean? If so, let me list them: *Famicom Wars (NES/FC) *Super Famicom Wars (SNES/SFC) *Game Boy Wars 1 (GB) *Game Boy Wars Turbo (SGB) *Game Boy Wars 2 (SGB) *Game Boy Wars 3 (GBC) *Advance Wars (GBA) *Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (GBA) *Advance Wars: Dual Strike (NDS) *Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (NDS) That's 10 at this point. Discounting unofficial ones, of course.
@danidaniboyboy The comment is from 2+ years ago. I have played plenty of BW1 and BW2 now. And let me tell you: the Flame Vets would be a good unit for killing infantry flooding once and for all.
And in Campaign, it's preferable to avoid sacrificing units and trying to protect them instead. Usually, campaign maps come down to draining the AI's funding and hacking it down. Infantry are still useful for property control, but flooding is a bad idea.
Oh yeah: I built an IFV with the Day 1 funding on this map and White Moon's ability to expand is wrecked so fast its head would be spinning.
The Constructor can't make Harbors--although it should have been able to. Beaches on non-navy maps can still be troublesome, y'know.
The Battle Car's main weapon can't be used on any units besides ones categorized as "Armored." (Ranged-fire units, APCs/IFVs, and tanks.) But 36 ATK against "Armored" certainly wrecks ranged-fire units beyond belief.
Combat Buggy's Grenades, while wrecking "Lite Land" units, don't deal a lot of damage to "Armored" units. Still, they're inexpensive.
aka translations has some interesting names. Some good, some bad.
Believe it or not, Infantry actually die faster. Combat Buggy is the 3rd/4th cheapest unit in the entire game (Gold for the former, and Materials for the latter), and can wipe out an Infantry in one strike fairly easily. And even if you have an Infantry at S Rank on a Capital, if it's attacked by a full health AA Tank that avoids being flanked, the Infantry is doomed. Yep: even OHKs have degrees.
is better. KAKUREMBO BATTLE MONSTER TACTICS

Err. . .were those bulldozers shooting ROCKETS?
Goodguy33 2 years ago 3
@Goodguy33
The bulldozer has an auxiliary machine gun. Don't expect results, though. Use it to do stuff with the terrain instead because it ain't cheap.

red star? white moon? ruggy? what the hell are these?
hybrinoid 2 years ago
@hybrinoid
Red Star = Orange Star's original name
White Moon = Blue Moon recolored in GBW1 due to the Game Boy's color limit
Buggy = car with armor right inbetween Infantry and Mech, but high attack against unarmored land units.

Meanwhile, you're not the only one who has a concern about issue that results in the speed of the picture part of the VBA videos being too fast.

I dunno how you can scare a nation with a name like "White Moon." Hoestly, it sounds wimpy. At least Blue Moon has Grif to scare people...
