Hard to train? My shih tzu learned how to sit, lay down, dance, roll over in as little as a week and a few months later I taught her to speak and play dead. Not to mention it took less then a week to potty train her.

i dont like the fur long like a show dog..or as short as a puppy...But you know how their fur looks around 8-9 weeks old? Scruffy?? Well, thats how i want it cut...Not so that the face has a lot of hair and the body has barely any. I hope it makes sense..Cuz when i get a shih tzu..i dont know what to tell the person grooming him/her.

I have a toy poodle, and i am getting a shih tzu, so i am realy exited for that, and these videos from animal planet (eaven though this video is not uploaded by them) have really helped me. And i do know that shih tzu's are hard to train, but i have both the time and patiente for it, so i'm sure if i work hard with the dog then it will work! :)

@linnikarlsen shih tzu's are the best!!! i have one who turned 2 on october 4th, and i love her more than anything...!!!! they are acctually not that hard to train, but they can be stubborn...... and if i were you, i'd keep your shih tzu's hair cut short like the puppy cut....... if you have any othher questions, just comment back or send me a message... or i'll make a video expaining your questions if you want!!!

so i played with it but when i was leaving i saw its sad eyes as its crappy owners put him back in the cage he was looking and me crying but tonight it looked sick so i came back inside we brought it to the vet and the dogs dieing cuz it was not eating right not going out side and staying in a cage all day the dogs ganna die most likely in a few days the vet said its to late to start taking care of it but i found out i kept it alive a little longer by being good to it i will miss you :(

read my first comment before this one- they feed it shit food they find in a dollar store with is vary bad for dogs so i felt bad for the little fella! so i took it out got good food washed it played at the park with it for 2 hours a day but i had to keep it on leash cuz if on leash will run away cuz not trained right but the dog loves me more then he family but i left got my own house i came back today it was in its cage i let it out is was so happy to see-read next comment!

ok i just moved and we did not have a house so we stayed with a friend for 6 months (i have a house know) but they have a shit sue when i first got their the dog did not bark move just stayed their she hos the worst owners ever they don't wash it they don't take it out the only time it goes out is to poo but it only stays out for 2 minutes and they foreget to feed it and when they do feed it they feed it really crappy food- read next comment
