you can use any electronic device that don't transmit any kind of radio or infrared signal. But I wouldn't use any regardless for everyone's safety.

I LOVE the A340 but the noise of the cabin creaking during landing kind of freaks me out sometimes....is it the metal fuselage creaking or just the plastic cabin walls/overhead lockers??
