I used to love Aristides. I definitely realized that Aristides and her wife don't understand when the Haitian people get it. we get that aristide loves himself more than the Haitian people. Everything he does, he does it to stay in power without thinking of the bad impacts on the people. Please people, when you don't know the bad things that this man have done, and how he destroyed Haiti, stop defending him. We forgive you titid but don't think that Haitians are stupid!!!!

A beautiful, articulate and courageous woman. She must feel such a combination of fear and pride for her husband and her children -- much like Michelle Obama.
I think she's sincere as any loyal wife. She's pretty and articulate. God knows what she's doing with him. Does she know that many people also fear her husband and feel he will not hesitate to use violence to get his way? At least in the past...personally I hope he came back a changed man and uses his intelligence for good instead of evil.
so many parallels between the 2 families.... I am really in awe of Mildred Aristide. I am impressed by her dedication to the Haitian people and to President Aristide who despite his mistakes, was very instrumental in liberating the Haitian people from the dictatorship of the Duvaliers. Isn't it a shame that our beautiful first lady and Mrs. Aristede can't be friends? They are both so poised and knowledgeable. Their daughters are about the same age. Surely, if our govt were not so stuck in its old lies, they would find many points of understanding and agreement.
