@imsixftsix Oh yeah totally. The vast majority of oil can be reclaimed. A US Oil Tanker was sunk off Truk Atoll in WW2 and it didn't leak for 60 years. Then as it rusted it started leaking and they pumped 2.1 million gallons of oil out of it and every drop was re used.

@imsixftsix yes the fuel is lighter than water so the excess can be separated (quite) easily. but i don't know if they use some anti-flame or detonation fluid emulsioned pumped with water into fuel tanks for increase safety...

@imsixftsix Yes, they'll just filter the diesel then test it. Some of the fuel is apparently "heavy" (crude oil). That will probably be taken away for reprocessing.
