there is no bass in it. it's just the kick which makes that sound. i made this beat in reason.

i think if you use FL and want that sound out of a kick you should do the following:

pick a random kick with bassish sound, turn up the 'out' to get a short kick, pitch it a bit up, add a EQ and turn up some middle and high frequencies.

i think that should do it.

look into the 'channel settings' of the kick and choose at the 'sample' window.

at the bottom of the sample windows you can see 5 knobs: In, Out, Pogo, Crf, Trim.

Turn up the out knob until the kick sounds short enough. I suggest you also turn on the 'normalize' button
