  • Can the cp pro also fly regular? Like without having to do tricks??

  • @ryanprr LOL

  • can the blade cp pro do that stock?

  • nice job Kyle.

  • Thats frickin SICK. Can't wait to get mine. Its on its way.

  • hey is that fairport, ny?

  • @bdabeast05 it says fairport

  • Your heli flight skill is excellent.

  • This kid is ridiculously talented...

doing 3d with a cp INDOORS... heh...

  • That was amazing, how long have you flown?

  • if you are looking for a large leap in performance, get it or get a cp+

  • I looked up prices for this and it's like 150 bucks for RTF with transmitter and everything! I thought this kind of thing was supposed to be way more expensive. It's like the same price as the smaller double rotor living room helis. What am I not understanding?

  • @AllUrUtubeRbelong2me

In the electronics world, smaller means it costs more. So, a micro (not nano) RTF is going to cost less than a similar featured nano. Being that a nano low featured is the same as this CP heli, it makes sense :)

This is one of those rare circumstances where "too good to be true" need not apply!

Except, they are HARD to learn to fly if you haven't flown one before. Practice!

  • Thanks for the explanation xxBalialxx. I guess that makes sense. Just to clarify, when you said, "This is one of those rare circumstances where "too good to be true" need not apply" I assume you meant this particular helicopter is a very good price for what it is, am I correct?

  • ur understanding everything. i have had mine for a year and when i bought it it was 250. i flew 3d today for the first time. the great thing about this heli is that its so twitchy so if u can fly this u cn pretty much fly anything. i have a t-rex 700 and after flying the pro 2 the 700 is a breeze

  • In all honesty, this vid proves how good it CAN be. With a good pilot as shown, upgraded to roll faster, and so on. From the factory they are great helis too...just need a good pilot.

Great vid and even better flying. 5*

  • WoW ! just WoW ! 5 stars

  • nice flying i got a blade 400 cant do that nice flying

  • did you have to get a upgrade to fly upside down and is the radio a 6 channel

  • no, you dont have to upgrade to do 3d, there is a switch on any 6ch tx that lets you change the pitch of the blades which can make you fly upside down

  • how do you go inverted

  • That's some good flying, keep it up.

  • good helicopoter#

  • nice flying it looks like im about your age and i cant nearly fly as good as you can keep up the good work

  • do the blades start spinning the other way inverted? how does it do this im a noob

  • It is just a pitch change from positive to negative, thanks to the collective pitch on this tiny bee

  • it changes the pitch from positive lift to negative lift

  • its called negative pitch, the angle of the blade is tilted down when the blades cut through the air it pushes air upwards which pushes the heli down so if ur upside down or in texas that means u go up

  • The blades spin at the same speed constantly (in theory), the only thing that changes is the pitch of the blade. What is normally "throttle down" on the helicopter instead changes the pitch negative, pushing the air down which in turn allows it to fly inverted. Quite fun, I can't fly inverted yet.

  • I would think the blades would rotate so it forces the air in an opposite direction

  • nice flying ur good

  • awsome flying hope to be that good someday

  • hey do you fly with just your thumbs on the control sticks?

  • nope, never do that, you will not get good control over the heli, pinch the left stick with your left thumb and finger and the other stick the same with the other hand. it feels weird the first couple of flights flying like that, but you gain so much more control over the heli, especially during 3D flight.

  • ah, ok thanks for the help ;)

  • Actually its whatever your comfortable with, each has its own advantages and disadvantages but i've seen pros use just thumbs and he even did crack flying.

  • yes, but that way, is much more reliable for making an easy slip up, where as when you pinch the sticks, you have full control, yeah using only your thumb on 1 stick is good, but if you slip with that 1 thumb? disaster.

  • I've been flying for 3 years and never had a slip, this is strictly your opinion on which is better, if you like pinch style then thats great.

  • have you ever tried the pinch method? most are in disbelief until they try it for a while. then they will never go back .

  • whats the pinch method

  • holding the sticks with the index finger and the thumb and not holding the transmitter,,you use a tray. i have been trying to convert but it is hard to do after 20 yrs of thumbing it. you dont have to beleive me. but just check the leading pros. you have a much better idea of input. ie. it responding to you v/s you responding to it...thumbing is cool for sport flying but for accurate flying esp heli pinch is king.

  • nice flight

  • i notice you only like to do the rotations one way. =) very very good though.

  • Pitch curves?

  • "blade cp pro with the upgrades" Notice the with upgrades, people probably haven't said it cant unless its stock.

  • wow nice flying man. i would only dare to try most of those tricks on realflight!

  • i'm flying mine for about 3 weeks ...i can fly fast now ...but i have a hard time flying nose in ,give's me the creeps .

can you do those things fully standard?the box says so ?grtz

  • would this be a good stepup from the coaxial blade CX2?

  • If you are good at your cx2

  • is being able to fly from room to room good enough? (my doorwas are just 3 inches bigger than the heli)

  • I would consider "good" by if you can fly it without have the tail facing you all of the time. If so I would say go for it.

  • no i cant quite do that yet, still pratcing. i can fly through the doorways wile followint the heli on foot. Im gona get the CP pro as soon as im entirely comfortable with it. thanks for ur help

  • No problem. The only reason I say that is because I started out with a cp pro and wish I started with a cx2. They seem to be more forgiving and cheaper when crashed.

  • the cx2 is quite cheap to repair, and its amazingly rugged, it was my first helicopter ever, and the only parts i ever needed to replace were blades and once a landing skid. They can take quite some damage. The training gear really sucks tho... it makes the heli more crashproof, at the expense of being able to fly normaly. it just screws up the flight characteristics. Also is the CP pro very crash sensitive? becaise im really not good with landings

  • I would say it is crash sensitive. The wood blades go very quick, I like the carbon fiber they cost a bit more but seem to last longer. If you get the new cp pro 2 you wont have the issue with the tail hitting the ground and stuff falling out (bearings). The only part that I keep lots of extras of are the spindle #eflh1143 if the blades hit the ground somewhat hard it seems to bend. I have only broke the skids once, same with the main rotor and the tail boom, but then again I started with the cp

  • k il try to get the Cp pro 2 after i get really good on the cx2

    thanks for the help

  • Comment removed

  • i have an mcx, and i go to competitions with it every other thursday. i can go through hoops nose in, land on ladders nose in, and all that stuff. the guy at the shop said this would be good to move up to. do you think it's a good idea?

  • I would recommend a Trex 450 or above these are not very stable and if its your first controlled pitch heli you will spend a lot on mostly blades and some other stuff. In the long run its worth getting a Trex 450 or above because they are stable and good fist controlled pitch helis. Gl on whatever you decide on!

  • ok thanks

  • I just got into the Heli hobby by way of a Blade EmCX which I think was a bit too easy to fly. I enjoy it but I want something that can do more. I also don't want to get used to the controls on this heli if a "real" heli like this one has different controls that I will have to relearn all over again.

What are the differences from a controller perspective?

What is the next step for a pilot at my level?

Links to any guides would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

  • Its not crap just not very high quality, even when upgraded its highly unstable. Its the nature of small helis. In this video you've got a basic blade cp pro probably bought for 250. after that he changed it to brushless an exta 50-100 bucks. Then you add in the cost of a dx7 200 plus a receiver (cheapest is 50) a better lipo for 40. Total over 600 bucks. ouch. Plus it burns through tail motor about every 10-15 flights. At the very least, i'd reccomend a belt drive like the king 2 or belt cp.

  • sick flying...and he is a sponsored pilot. dude rocks!

  • Its a 3D machine when its UPGRADED for twice it's own price. Not worth the money. Save for a rex or some shit. I Fly mid 3D myself. An di can hoover a blade cp inverted and all that, but it's not even fun.

  • I'm very impressed, I wouldn't have thought you could do that with an ETRM heli (wish I could do it with my belt-cp if i'm honest ;) )

    Well done!

  • That "kid" (be it so) is a sponsored pilot already.

  • what kind of gyro are u using to stablize it

  • Thats really really good kid!! im glad to see someone fly the pro like that! you have inspired me to take the old blade off the shelf and give it a go.

    Good job!!

  • is it hard to do 3d with that? can u do 3d with the blade cp?

  • The blade cp is 3d but it is very unstable

  • well keep in mind there is almost no comparison from the cp+ and cp pro because with the + all your control first goes through the flybar, then the blades, but with the bell-hiller mixer, the input from the servos go straight to the blades. try the grips without the bell-hiller and you will see why people bad mouth it, esp. since most new owners of the cp are new to the world of helis

  • I work in a hobby shop and hear people bad mouth the CP all the time. I still use my pro to train with, I think they are awesome little choppers! Learning something on my CP translates into ultra smoothness when I pick up my Rex. Thanks for posting, great vid!

  • yup thats true, if you can hover the blade cp pretty well, you can fly other larger helis like the t-rex

  • That some good flying for your age. And thats pretty awesome for the CP but its not close to what the Trex can do. Trex does all that times 10, 20 times as fast though, those things are amazing.

  • Not really. Justin Chi was flying better than this at the age of 3! LOL LOL LOL.

  • Sweet flying Kyle, keep up the good work!

Thanks for posting the video migser85.

  • Nice flying! Your heaps good, im your age and just started on a Blade CX2, heli flying is awesome.

  • cool i want to be like him!!!!!!. how old is the pilot?

  • where did you get the 11 tooth pinion? Brushless setup says to get the 8 tooth.

  • I can do that in my dreams. My cp pro looks like a ball of plastic right now. Im about to give up a thousand dollars later.

  • i'm jealous

  • thanks for anwering realy helped me to choice wich to buy thanks!

  • honey bee king 2, can do much better than that, just make sure to get a brushless motor and hh gyro for it

  • you are right..the value of esky is much more than eflight..esky is roughly 3 times less for the same quality!

  • can honey bee king 2 do that? please answer

  • Thats impressive but the blade cp is definitely not the best micro 3D helicopter, not by a long shot

  • excellent job sir!

  • were you able to fly the stock cp pro ok? i have one and have difficulties..can you please help?

  • Great flying, Keep practicing You will be a champion pilot any time soon.Good luck!

  • Great flying!

You gotta love Micro helicopters. Almost all the fun of Minis but less space and less price.

  • Do a search for "Blade CP Pro hard 3d" if you want to see some sick flying with the CP Pro. How old is that kid? He doesn't look 16

  • he is eleven, we had justin chi last weekend here he is also awesome with only 5 years old

  • I believe it is the same size, yes.

  • Kyle has also replaced the stock rubber head dampers with ball bearings. There is no damping in the head other than what the flex in the plastic headblock can provide.

  • hi chris, you mean same bearing like the one you use in the blade grips?

  • Kyle is a decent pilot, but perhaps he should spend less time in front of a computer eating junk food while practicing on a sim and consider using that gym for its intended purpose.

  • migser85.This fucking Racist fag plays with kids toys.Haha.You fucking boludo.chao.

  • lol, not toys this things can take your head out of you, you should know, and im not racist, you shouild try this some day

  • As far i know he is using the eflite park 370 brushless motor with 11 tooth pinion but there are 2 kv´s 3600 and 4100 im still waiting his answer wich of both he is using for me it has to be the 3600 cuz with a 11 tooth pinion on the 4100 would be too much head speed, he is using the eflite hh lock gyro(g90), 220mm flybar, and on the tail direct drive motor, wich im also waiting the answer of what dd setup it is.

  • Exactly what upgrades were done to the heli?

  • great job!!! kylerocks!!!
