Chris Matthews is getting old...and stupid if he thinks that Palin have good answers during the Gibson interview.

Is scares me that some of you would watch her, hear her policies, and make a decision that this is who you would want leading our country...all of you whining about Charlie being hard on her, go watch Obama on O'Rielly and then try to tell me that she "handled this well" or that "Charlie was hard on her". The commentator made no mention on the Israel and Iran scenario when Palin made absolutely no mention using diplomatic means to prevent a war between Israel and Iran.

Palin also made no mention about failing to second guess an Israeli decision to attack Iran.

Come on! There was nothing brilliant about Palin's performance. It was an embarrassment. Look, I respect the opinions of my well-informed Republican friends, but there is absolutely NO WAY that ANYONE after watching the Gibson/ Palin ABC debacle can, with a straight face, say that Sarah Palin is ready for ANY OFFICE beyond the one she currently holds!

McCain has made an utter mockery of the office of vice president by selecting Palin.

She doesn't have to jump through the exact hoops that people like Charlie Gibson put forth.

She gave good answers to everything. Her answer to the God question was world class, basically that what she wants is for people to pray for wisdom, a basic Christian precept.

She was calm, cool, and collected in the face of a hardcore assault on her by Gibson.

To use her own words, she "didn't blink" in this interview, even though he tried to trip her up.

It was a fight. She won hands down.

No, that's not what she said, why not let the words she used be "what she said" as opposed to you trying to speak for her. She didn't use the word wisdom, so why would you insert that. She sounded like a jack ass, and she's not very good, point blank. Is "being right" worth having someone that jeopardizes our kids, nation, and familes in office? Oh OmniNorth, get real! Charlie Gibson didn't set out to trip her up or entrap her. He served her a question which to most knowledgable politicians would have been a meatball, but which to the average person would have seemed impressive. I happen to know for a fact that Charlie is a registered Republican who supports the party's candidates in more ways than just with his wallet. But he's American first, and when he realized that she didn't have a clue what the Bush Doctrine was he let her hang.

Except that she lost. Hands down. When an interviewer asks a question, even if they're trying to trap you (which I don't think he was, he's just giving an excellent interview) and you do not answer the question, you lose. She stuttered, she said the same thing over and over when he kept asking for a simple yes or no.

If she won why did he look 100 times more calm and collected than she did? I'd even say HE didn't blink in this interview even though she tried to evade every question.

Charlie Gibson isn't her boss. She can answer however she wants to. She is an incredibly strong person, so that's what she did.
