I love the 80's vauxhall's and am fond of the mk1 astra - very rare these days, - I can only remember this being the only "special edition" unlike the mk2 "antibes""club - yukky yellow and grey interior!" astra 200 and so on..
Thanks again mate, the Mk1 is getting rare as, now, so many have fallen by the wayside, rotten. :-( I never see one until i go to a show during the summer!
It wasent the only special edition MK1. There was one in 1982 called an EXP which was basically the same but in black/gold or brown/gold. I have a black and gold one! Nice cars
You're very kind!! Are you a vauhall fan in general??
This was done at a meet with an enthusiast club,,, known as Vauxhall opel drivers club!! :-) :-) The car is still alive and going well, & can be seen on the above site!!
Funny you say this, as quite a few folk have pointed this out & fully aware what it came out the factory with. as other cars had also been running on the day along with mine they came away with figures that matched their previous performance, som e had a little gain, but expected from the improvements. maybe you would like to tell them they're running a poor set up?
great little car i'll have one sum day

Well considering they only put out 75bhp from the factory I'd tell the dyno owner to get his gear recalibrated, it's miles out!!!
