  • This is a cool and easy choreography. I have a question: what do you do if your veil is really staticy?

  • super gracias :)

  • Very cool!! Please let us all know when this DVD is out, as I need to add to my belly dance collection :)

  • I love your vidoes they are great! They look so impressive and not too hard for a beginer like myself to learn. I am so thankful you have put them on here!

  • by eddy de sheek choshik is it right? pls help me out

  • Hello! Are you still creating choreographies? I am interested in doing veil work in my next burlesque act. I'll be dancing to Misirlou by Dick Dale. Do you think you can help?

  • Thanks for this video, it´s really great, all things are very good the quality, the sound. I´m learning to dance belly dance because I like it a lot, do you have more videos like this? Thanks again.

  • wow you make veil dancing look easy and definitely you have motivated amateurs like me! Thanks!

  • Gr8 instructions. Thanks

  • Her form is beautiful and so is her arm work!

She's kinda holding it wrong, though,I mean you can hold it like that but it's not necessarily right. There's an easier, more comfortable way. And also, her veil is uneven, your veil should always be even.

  • I know its also said at the beginning but its very quick!

  • Wonderfull! Can anybody tell me the name of the music? Please...

  • TY! Check the ending credits.

  • "Sensual Chifti" and old tune, by Eddie "theShiek" Kochak - it was recently released on the CD "Passion of Belly Dance" by Aziza. It should be available online.

  • you can find this song at the next cd: "Strictly Belly dance" or The passion of Belly dance, by Aziza Raks (track no. 11). Good luck

  • It's called Misirlou, and it's a bellydance

    classic.

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this video; it's all explained clearly, movements are graceful, the veil looks like part of you. Love the names of moves, and most of all counting, which is difficult when describing veil choreography. You look effortless, and I am inspired!! Please make more videos!!

By chance are you a veil instructor?

  • Amustela thank you so much for sharing this video.

I've tried to search for the music and I can't find it. Does someone know where could I find it?Greetings

  • perfectly beautifull!!

    thank´s for teaching us

  • thanks

  • Thank you, thank you so much for sharing this!!! It is a not so difficult or advanced choreography, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful, 'cause it really IS. Great for us, beginners or intermediate students and specially for those on a budget (hey you can't go around buying ALL instructional DVDs out there)Do you have more of these? We want more!!! Amustela is also a very good instructor!

    Thanks again!

  • Thank you for sharing. I like this! :-)

  • Oh! I love this! I just started learning veil and this is terrific! Very beautiful choreography. <3

  • You are awsome!

  • Great instructional video. Is three yards really the standard size for the veil? What about for petite dancers?

  • how many meters are 3 yards?

  • 3 yards is roughly 3 meters - this is a very rough measurement some dancers use 2 - 2.5 or even 4 yards. Three yards is just an average length.

  • oh, I see :) my veil is about less than 2 meters, but it works.. :)

  • Very nice!

  • for the head slides, imagine that you have a string running through your ears, and you are pulling on it, side to side.

  • can i get a private lesson in this head slide thing????

  • it really helps if u first strech yr neck. turn yr head around, make a big sercle, then stech forward and back, then strech both sides. after that try to do the slide. it's not easy but 1 day it just comes:) that's what happened to me

  • lmao!!! Now can you tell me how to get my head back aound the front? It seems to be stuck!
