I say modernity is the key to success to our people, since we are the most populus people in the region.. skrew the primitive living.. we've got a nation to build!!

  • wow, that's blonde's not bad. GILF!

  • Interesting culture.

  • Dude this is what I'm going into! Visual anthropology! Whoop whoop!

  • Since sudan means they sweat in Spanish, was Sudan named that because it was hot?

  • @davidthefat Well, Sudar, really, is the infinitive of sweat in Spanish...but yes, probably! But the likelihood that it came directly from Spanish is low...other romance languages share common forms of Sudar, so it could be from any of them, even some Germanic languages...

  • @davidthefat

It was named by the Arabs.Al-Sudan.Land of the blacks.

Arabs still call blacks abeed(slaves) and see them as inferior.Which is what the whole sudan conflict was about.Wanabe arabized black muslims in the north againts the non-muslim blacks in the south.

  • this is how blacks were before arabs/berbers brought islam to them and before europeans went to that continent.....

they forgot to mention how they suck the cows ass to make it lactate.LOL

  • @ilafeiz

But this is the year 2011 and they still live like that? And they want to tell us that blacks created civilization?GTFOH.I just find the whole "out of africa" theory pure bs.

  • @liquidsnake123 Wow was that supposed to be good logic? Read guns, germs, and steel if you dont believe that theory.

  • Ser

  • amatuer photographers

  • wonderful photography but jesus cameramen and women are not exciting public speakers

  • @Bobanderic perhaps not "exciting" by tv standards of constant shouting and exclamation, but the subject is so interesting and their calm manner of speaking is lovely.

  • Damn it NatGeo. It's now South Sudan, this area is no longer southern Sudan.

  • love it (: the dinka are really beautiful people

  • Are they not a cute couple?

  • Also, they narrate so good. I almost felt like I was there, like reading a book actually.

  • Are those pictures showed film? Cause they have amazing IQ, would it be hard to know wich film and perhaps, wich lenses did they use?

  • @okodorifuto Hahaha! Just ALOT of trial and error plus some common sence. :) Still, who wouldn't be impressed?

  • @okodorifuto I'm more impressed by how they managed to protect their film and cameras from the overwhelming amount of dust.
