  • you need a TRIMMMMM!

  • Damn there is a lot of hatred in some of these comment. People If you have some constructive advise, deliver it with tact; its just common manners really...

Nice video Blkchinagurl, I've just started doing daily workouts and I plan to do this indefinitely, your video was helpful.

  • great information,thanks!

  • What is tip # 11?

  • how often do u clip your ends? thats jus a question both for You and the public i use when i was relaxed every 2weeks...my hair stayed good untill i started bleaching and coloring it..and can u show us how your hair is when its wet?

  • @lexyladybug81 I clip my ends every 3 months because Im growing my hair out. Its to far Bra strap length! :) But I take car of it alot, and keep it moisturized!

  • great video. learned alot

  • your hair goergous

  • And we've got the same goals, too! before I seen most of your videos, I planned to go on a diet on August eating fruits and vegetables. I planned to do this to have a healthier body, be more active, live a different lifestyle, have better eyesight, and DEFINITELY lose weight! And also, you're really smart, and your hair growth advice was helpful. I'm sure the fruits, vegetables, and water will help! Keep it up, and ur hair too! ^_^

  • Do you really have to oil your hair daily? On my opinion, I don't think that u have to, because your scalp can produce its own oil from your sebacious glands. And my mother tells me to wash my hair once every two weeks. One time I used washed my hair once a week, and my mother told me to wash once every two weeks. I want my hair to be long as yours, and I'm an African American male by the way.

  • this is very helpful great video ,!!

  • her hair may not be blowdried. depending on the curl of hair, she could have combed it out to get it like that, without heat. I do it all the time, i dont even own a blowdryer

  • Hey, blkchinagurl, I know you said you it's best to avoid alcohol-based products, which I agree with, but Biosilk Silk Therapy is laced with denatured alcohol in case you didn't know.

ABBA Thermal Protect Spray is a fantastic thermal protectant is a fabulous alternative, as it does not build up on the hair. You should give it a try.

  • You know, instead of embracing a black women who has hair that is long(14 inches and up), you are a man who wants to hate like a female.....which tells me a lot. And regardless if your hair is longer than mine,,,,,mine is still long!!!!!Use logic........

  • Umm .. . That's not between her eyes, that's at the top of her right eyebrow. And even though, so what? Does it matter?

    Your hair is fucking gorgeous!

  • i cant believe ive come to this........ugh

  • There is more to hair care then what you put on there. Coconut oil does more for your hair than tea tree oil. Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioner makes your hair soft and silky as well.

  • it looks to me like uve blowdried your hair 4 this video.lmao.

  • I don't like your video. Half the things you said are not true. What do you know about hair. In addition, were did you get your information. Your not a professional for sure.

  • that was harsh, she can only say what she knows from her own experiences. If u have hair on ur head and have gone thru ur own personal hair journey, then you know hair. What kind of comment is that? Stop hating and appreciate the info, if u don't like it fine but don't say "what do u know about hair". Black women need to start supporting each other.

  • what about washing it every month

  • hiphopisdead93:

That is terrible advice. Nobody with naturally curly hair should wash their hair that often. People with naturally wavy, curly, and/or kinky hair should not wash their hair more than once a week, it's too drying if you do so. The goal is healthy hair, not frizzy, dried out, brittle hair.

  • my hair isny dry, frizzy or brittle, its curly and wavy

  • Just because it's curly and wavy doesn't mean it isn't dry. Washing your hair as often as you do is dehydrating.

  • no im actually telling u, my hairs never dried out

  • Your hair is great.

  • LOL, I wash my hair 2-3x a week and my hair has grown leaps and bounds and it's at it's most healthy. I absolutely agree with not bone straigthening the hair and then curling it or doing a braid out to make it look close to your nature curls. LOL Foolishness!

  • It looks blowdryed.

  • Its cause she blow dried it. Her hair probably is curly. I do hair I would know

  • ur so lucky ur hair aint that thick! my hair texture is 4b! lol but i relaxed it. i want to go natural now though

  • i cant wait till my hair gets that long

  • do you get alot of shrinkage when you wash your hair?

j/w cuz you hair looks soo much like mine and i think i'm a 3c/4a

    :]

  • do u have pictures when u had a perm and after u did the big chop

  • This will be a bummer....but I don't have very many pics of my own hair...Why? Well to be honest.... I never really thought to much about it. and really didn't care to much for it When it's straight,,its too thin for me....and I never felt like messing with it much in its natural state,,,,but i will be showing pics of my hair straighten in my future videos.

  • did you blow dry your hair?

  • yes

  • it should not matter if your mixed or black nice vid tho... you did a great job about explaning your hair type and products

  • Great Video. You said your a 3b, but your hair dont look like a 3b. 3b hair has a natural shine to it even when its not wet, according to the Andre Walker hair chart. You look more like a 4a with a tad bit of 3c.

  • I know its hard to tell in this video, but my hair does have a natural shine too it blow-dry, and its especially shiny when straighten without any products. But my hair is slightly kinky, but more tightly coiled.

  • You are one of a kind. Im happy u give this info. Im trying to tone my abs and loose weight same time.

  • great video! Love your tips

  • I' m confused...are you wearing a wig in the other videos? no offense.

  • I switch from time to time....

  • This is what my hair looks like that after I wash it and blow dry it (lol) Except my hair is relaxed.

  • wow ur ends needs to be seriously trimmed. you can see the uneveness & it's pretty thin half down.

  • You are so right,,and the week after i made this video I got my ends trim...about an inch,,,but i dont know about half down sweetie....

  • soundz like somebody is hating...lol

  • not at all, trust!

  • what ur hair is natural.. damm it is long.. damm how long you have it like that.

  • When i was 16 my hair was to my waist and i had a perm. Then I got it cut, and now I've seriously been growing my natural hair out since Oct 2007.

  • what I know is that this is a basic hair care video and all that I am offering are suggestions, which mean I am not telling anyone they must do what I say.And if you feel you are an expert on your hair, well thats GREAT!!!But there are alot of women who do not suceed in growing their hair long with perms, so I advise that u get a SKILLED beautician, which means do your research. But, thanks for the comment...

  • u should show a video with your hair curly...

  • ty so much for this!
