@akuorochii you need to have a disc in the ps3 it dosent have to be the game disc just A disc so you could be on modern warfare 2 while kung fu panda is in the ps3 hope this helped

I have a 3.41 ps3, i've done thte jailbreaking, when i putted the game in, on backup manager, i saved it to my HDD and then i tried to play it by not having the game that i saved on my HDD , i know that on backup manager 2 u dont need to have a disc inside the ps3, but neither of those things have worked for me...help..wat did i do wrong?..i have weeks trying to figure this out..

@rockdizzle20 download the 3.41 update through pc put it in a usb drive and put it inside a folder called UPDATE and put that folder inside another folder called PS3 after that plug in your usb in the ps3, go to system update and select update through media storage. BAM done

If I use this with my PS3 completely disconnected from the internet, play games or whatever, then reconnect it but not use the backup manager, will Sony be able to ban me? Also will you get the stealthed version to work with the calculator?

@Aceofspadezs Yes, a list of recently launched games is uploaded each time you connect. I am looking to see if you can mod this list by altering the 2 files via the FTP program, but they already have my ID logged using it. If you are worried about being banned, I wouldn't do it. Wait until we have a sure way around it.

@Aceofspadezs Stealthed version is doo doo. Tries to update the game of what ever ID it is spoofing, and it really is not stealthed as the real game id is saved on the ps3 and uploaded to psn everytime you sign on.

If they ban me I will be bummed as I paid for PS+

@CTownIntegra I doubt they'd ban your ID, more likely the ps3. Personally I'm working towards picking up a new slim or something for legit use, while keeping my phat fore homebrew and stuff. Since this homebrew scene won't happen overnight, might as well get a legit one to use online.

Took me quite a few tries to do this.

Tips:

1) Don't forget to update the calculator firmware to the latest

2) PS3 3.41 firmware only

2) Power cable must be unplugged.
