I had Restylane lip augmentation many years ago but mine was absolute agony even with dental blocks. My lip swelled up like a balloon. You could see/feel the ridge of the gel in the lip for 4 months or more and was painful. The augmentation actually lasted about 2 years for me (not 6 months) before reducing. It would be interesting to know if anyone had a similar experience to me or why my reaction was so different.
