I supose Alexander and Daniel were both victims of curcumstance, each using eachother and doing terrible things to get what they desired. Daniel wanted protection, Alexander wanted to see the woman he loved again, who waited for him in another world. Because of this, I don't think Alexander could be considered a monster, but it goes to show how far people will go for love.

It's a fictional story, of course, but it's interesting and really makes you think.

@Kakashi713 Actually brad just found a new way of escaping the prison. you had to use the broken tube to break a wall. so when he escaped in another way it supposed not to happen, the wall was meant to brake that is why it broke. The shadow didnt help you. if you stay 10 minutes (aprox.) there the shadow comes and kills you

@painkillerDarko The mosters are in his mind, created by his own loss of sanity due to the shadow he carries with him. As you lose sanity in this game, its like a ping telling the monster where you are. He'll show up if enough sanity is lost, and the more you lose, the more likely his is to find you. Later, since the shadow is more powerful, its easier for the monster to get to you. The multiple monsters are just his own mind projecting more of the original monsters.

But the Cradle is NOTHING compared to the saw. In the room he goes into after the Cradle, (the pyramid thing) you can see the image of how the sawing method is used. They would hang people upside down and procede to saw through them, starting at the crotch. The pain would have been UNIMAGINABLE, but the blood rushing to the persons head would oxygenate their brain and keep them concious even so long as for the saw to reach their midrift.... Truly horrible...
