I TOTALLY agree with the top comments. Jem was DEFINATELY better! I didn't even remember that Barbie and the Rockers had a tv show... and I don't remember ANY of their songs..

but I DO remember that I had a few barbies along with their rocker stage when I was little. Got it for christmas..lol!

I had a small LP vinyl record I got at a Barbie and the Rockers concert in Puerto Rico when I was a little girl that I have not been able to find anywhere, I remember it had a song that went something like "Are We Too Young To Feel this way"...anyone remember this? It had a black background. I wish I could find it. :( good times.

I always was a big jem fan and I remember when i watched this on vhs.i rented it and i was pissed. after it was over my mom asked how i liked it. i told her it was a reject version of jem and the holorgrams. matel only brought that out because jem's cartoon and the dolls were taking over. its the same thing that happened when bratz came out. i remember matel had those urban barbie dolls plus the my scene dolls that hardly no one bought.

If I watched this movie once as a toddler, I watched it literally 100 times. I was born in 1988, a year after the movie was made. I still have it on VHS. At the age of 19, it still doesn't take much for me to pop this into the VCR and watch it. I am amazed that I found it and I wish someone would upload all of their songs or even the whole movie. It would be awesome to have on You Tube :o)

Isn't this a coincidence? I just happened to see this show yesterday (don't ask me which channel it was). I have memories of this too! However the strangest thing is that my memories were that of Barbie's gang being called the 'Rock Stars' and not 'Rockers'. Of course then again the fact that I'm from the UK they probably changed the title for the market as is sometimes the case.
