@eduardogto64 Possible the metal clips were bent when opening the device? That is fairly common. Just double check the clips and be sure they are aligned properly. From there you should just be able to pop it back into place.
@CharliedaPandacorn If you can not get your Nano to reset, wait for the battery to die out, then attempt to charge it. Usually it come up just fine. The battery will not cause the issue as far as I know.
I have the same iPod Nano as that and when I connect it to my computer to iTunes it starts working and when I unplugged it to the computer it turns off then turns and off. I turned on and off the hold button switch and hold the center button for about 6 or more seconds but it still doesn't work. I searched up in the internet about what happens and people say it's because the batteries are not functioning and stuff. Please reply!!
this is the same ipod i have it is not responding at all, i have tried to reset it by holding the select and menu buttons for 6,10, and 30 seconds that didn't work.??
when i plug it into the computer itunes and windows don't identify that is plugged in. could this be the battery??
Does the battery replacement on your website come with all the tools shown in this video beside the soldering iron? Aka if i buy the battery, i won't need to buy more tools to do this procedure.
