  • Please do not take me wrong T&K looks awsome I would actually like to ckeck it out . I assume it is in Southern Ohio I do not get that way often but if I happen to swing by I will try to check it out. By the way what town is it in and what is the address and store hours? by the way that was a pretty nice S or O gauge layout.

  • It is in Bridgeport, Ohio

  • Thanks I will keep them in mind if I ever get around the that neck of the woods.

  • Have you ever been to Caboose Hobbies in Denver CO now that place is like the size of an old Wal-Mart but they sale only train stuff I am not kidding 42 ailes of train stuff not inluding whats around the exterior walls and in the clearance bins.

However they sale Model Railroad stuff in all of the scales Z thru G and Lionel plus A huge selection of painted and unpainted Brass in N, HO, and G scales and one quarter of the store is Prototype info and books/timetables etc. Plus a decal dept.

  • nope never been their, sounds like a cool place to go 2.

  • Compairing hobby shops is like cars, can do this all day long, but caboose hobbies I think does the most online sales then most.

But the smaller mom and pop shops I like, was at one of my Fav shops yesterday, Located in Burlington Iowa, talked to the guy for a couple hours just one and one about all kinds of stuff, sucked I had to move an hour or so away when I was 20 minutes from him, but when I'm near, I make it a point to stop and spend at least 20 bucks a visit.
