  • Orchestrated and conducted by Marc Riley

  • That method of changing hymn texts is called "matting," according to Mrs. Robert Schuller who explained that when they first started the ministry on the road and she was organist, she started doing that. I think it's interesting, though not always tasteful. In any event, to each his own.

  • i went to the crystal cathedral i didnt get to attend mass tho i want to so badd wats it like?

  • well first of all they dont do masses it's called services, i think its denomination is reformed church or something, i was raised catholic and stopped going during my teen years now i started going to the CC it was nice but i rather went back to my old catholic church =o)

  • well I thinks it's probably because they want to give the hymn some variation, I especially love but really love "we build a new tomorrow" but i couldnt find it on the net so this is the closest thing

  • I believe that this song is a variation to "Sing to the Lord of Harvest" set to the tune of Stand up Stand up for Jesus.

  • Maybe someone knows the answer to this? Why does the crystal cathedral always change the words to their hymns? Just wondering.

I believe the original title of this hymn is "Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus". I've also heard the CC do ANOTHER version titled "We Build A New Tomorrow".
