  • So as long as Hellmuth shows his hand, in order to collect the pot, Bellande must have to show his hand as well? Whats the problem?

  • Gavin Smith has to shut up, he played some times when he was drunk and that was 10 times more annoying. Hellmuth is right here, Bellande has to show hes hand by the rules of etiquette.

  • when hellmuth mucks his hands, Bell doesn't need to show his

  • Hellmuth is such a cunt.

  • meanwhile in africa....

  • Poker rule - 'You must show 2 cards to win the pot'

  • What a Bellande.

  • I still don't get why almost every player is so against showing their cards if they absolutely don't have to. What the hell is so bad about it? What's the huge problem with just showing if you don't absolutely have to?

  • @Foxhound3857 showing your hand contributes a lot to table image and how the other players think about your play. sometimes you want the other players to see you were bluffing, sometimes you want them to see that you weren't bluffing, other times you don't want them to know at all.

  • Hellmuth got called, so he has to show his hand first. if he doesnt want to show it and mugs it, the player who called, in this case belande, wins the hand and doesnt have to show it if he doesnt want to... as soon as hellmuth showed his hand, belande had to show his hand in order to win.... cheap bluff. even world class players make so much politics dammit.

  • @Samet3009 you are 100% wrong. if phil mucks his hand then the winning hand MUST be shown to collect the pot. Phil is right

  • If a raiser get's called on the river, he has the option of showing or mucking his cards, if he mucks, the caller must show his own hand to take the pot or his hand is dead, if the raiser shows, the caller can either show or muck but one of those hands MUST be shown at showdown

  • just flip your fucking hand over damnet... they almost attack each other for this bullshit

  • we thought you have 4 aces:D

  • as much as i hate that moron bellande.. he is right in that spot.

  • silly humans

  • Phil Hellmuth, "Mr. Call Everyone Who Bluffs Me And Wins An Idiot And Swear At The Dealer" talking about etiquette. F*ck himself!

  • buncha homos

  • phils right, if bellande calls his river bet and phil announces good call u got it, bellande shud show his hand to scoop the pot and phil shud b able to muck, thats proper etiquette, such a small pot too i dunno what all the fuss is about

  • Gavin Smith is so awesome... I love when he starts yelling... what an awesome dude.

  • i love phill

  • Bellande is 200% correct. He called Hellmuths river bet, which gives him the right to see Phils cards. If Phil wants to muck, thats his choice, but he can only see Bellande's hand if he shows his.

  • @getduloh Phil is a smuck

  • @getduloh Phil Hellmuth clearly said by the rules of poker he's supposed to show his hand first. This is not about the rules. This is about poker etiquette. When someone bluffs on the end, gets called, and says "good call", the opponent is supposed to show to win allowing the loser to muck. There's a reason every other single person at the table is agreeing with Phil.

  • @Macbrother I understand poker etiquette and I'm all for it. Proper etiquette goes both ways though... if your bluff is called and you decide to muck rather then show your hand, you should not ask to see the winning hand that called you. The rules say if you get called, you show. If you want to break those rules fine, but etiquette says you dont then ask to see your opponents hand after refusing to show yours.

  • @getduloh Phil Hellmuth didn't decide to muck, though. The whole time he was waiting for Bellande to show. Bellande was *trying* to get Phil Hellmuth to muck. The point is, when your opponent says "good call,", you show, allowing the loser, to muck. That's the etiquette which Bellande is breaking here.

  • @Macbrother I just dont undertsand - why would you give away an advantage by showing your hand in this situation? Doesnt make any sense to me. If i do not have to show my hand, i dont - simple as that.

  • Lol Live players

  • What blow up?

  • never liked hellmuth!

    h

  • Kids...

  • Phil is an idiot. He is dead wrong. Bellande and Grizzle are cool.

  • sitting all day out there make them loose their minds, one flew over the coo coo's nest

  • someone sed i bet he aint four aces lool at the end

  • Dont know why he wouldnt want to show that he had a good read on Phil and made a good call...

  • @bbuhelt He did not want to expose to the table what he held. He would be giving up information about the way he is playing.

  • the is no polite in poker... everyone is out too win. simple.. play your cards and on to the next hand

  • is this a fucking joke or what

  • "I did win 300 dollars and an ante" HAHAHAHA

  • hellmuth is weirdo !!

  • phil hellmuth is a fuckwit.

asking to bet on etiquette etc

bellande is right. if hellmuth DOES NOT muck then he hasnt conceded.

  • Laughed my ass off at Mike's song & dance hahaha

  • IN MY OPINION this two shouldve showed there cards. why? cause its mothafucking showdown man. If someone calls u in the river, u both need to compare your cards so it can be determined who wins the pot. But hey what do I know im just a guy who's sitting in a chair watching poker vids..

  • Buddy in blue is retarded

  • Sad that 2 scumbags played against^^

  • Bellande is RIGHT - if phil mucks his hand and says good call - bellande does NOT have to show his cards, if you heard bellande say "Maybe he mis-read his cards, I don't want him to show" the hand is OVER, bellande is not obligated to show his hand after hellmuth conceded. I don't know where you guys play but it must be with the costa ricans who work for pokerstars lmao.

  • @FormerlyKnownAsShun No, Bellande is wrong, and EVERYONE else at the table is right. When you say "good call" the proper etiquette is for the opponent to show and win the pot. Hellmuth, knowing Bellande doesn't know or wouldn't follow etiquette, wisely does NOT muck his hand and forces Bellande to show to win, as it should be. Not showing at "showdown" is a bitch move, plain and simple.

  • @Macbrother I Respect Macbrother

  • @FormerlyKnownAsShun Formally, yes... If Phil mucks, then Bellande doesn't have to show. BUT Bellande is dead wrong and the rest of the table is right. Etiquette is the correct play in this situation. I'm backing Phil in this situation and he's right.

  • @kentontudor I respect that.

  • Hellmuth is right :|

  • unfuckingreal, how can bellande screw up at basic practice in poker? ive seen the winning hand on every single hand in my life that has gone to the showdown after river. why is it different with bellande?? you just show for fuck sake, if bellande mucks after hellmuth he cant win the pot.

  • bellande is unrealistically awful at poker, yet he thinks hes entitled to comeback at hellmuth. fuck that

  • smh

  • shoot both of them

  • @luckbokx did obama really sign that ?? LOL

  • Gavin Smith also said Bellande was wrong on the PUD replay. Search for Phil Hellmuth Vs. Jean Robert Bellande: RE: Etiquette.

  • this is very simple. if you think Bellande was correct, you don't understand poker etiquette. Grizzle, Matusow, Sheikhan, and Hellmuth were all saying one thing, Bellande was the only one on the other side. He is clueless and later acknowledged that he was wrong.

  • wow i thought this was a hellmuth blowup...who woulda thought

  • phil hellmuth is a dick, bellande made the call.. phil should show his hand or muck simple

  • "He's a cheap limit player. Turn your hand over."

    lol

  • @luckbokx Yes...because you watched a video that states in the title 'Best Poker Blowups'. I don't see what American politics has to do with it...Obviously put in context that is a bigger issue but does that mean no one can argue about anything 'less important'? This kind of stuff does matter in poker, especially when people are betting with thousands of dollars with each hand, money most people can only dream about, so don't make out that this wasn't worth an argument.

  • phil is absolutely right

  • he don't know etiquette he's been on an island... lmao

  • bellande is a moron

  • Bellande is an assh0le

  • If you can tilt a player off his game with one hand,,i say kudos,,cause its a battle of mentalities 1st and stamina 2nd. The game of poker was hardly a gentlemens game to begin with which makes all the different personalities entertaining to watch.

  • Bellande was an unsportsmanlike fuck. He just wanted Phil to show his hand so he could gloat, it wasn't enough that Phil said "good call." What a pissant.

  • bellande's name is a anagram from a bellend

  • The "we thought you had 4 Aces" made everyone happy again = )

  • It seems Phil watched this video 4 timesxD

  • muhaha i love when 4min47 muhahhahaah so funny its an helmuth immitation

  • bellander was just an ASS!

  • bellande was right.

  • press alt + f4 for HD!

  • If you have the winning hand, how do you expect to get the pot if you don't show it??? Makes no sense.

  • @matt3756 however, if the losing hand mucks his cards, then he forfeit and the other wins. in a boxing match, if the trainer throws in the towel the match is over and the opponent wins. :)

  • You have to show a winning hand to win a showdown after the river card. Bellande is wrong.

  • i'll bet you $10,000 that Phil HAS to show cause Bellande called him down. regardless of if he concedes or not, he's paid to see what he was playing against.

  • etiquette vs rules...

  • I believe jean robert is a homosexual, judging by his mannerisms.

  • Phil was right, bellande was making a big deal..he knew hellmuth had nothing and he refuse to show his winning hand

  • I see blowups in youtbe and blowjobs in youjizz

  • of course the guy in the blue is an idiot, when you want to swim in the money you invite fish, not sharks

  • I still don't know who's right on this, would've been better if Hellmuth and Bellande boxed it out right then and there.

  • press f13 for HD!

  • @MrOGCookieMonster you dick lol

  • Bellande paid to see Hellmuth's hand at showdown. Hellmuth is totally out of line here.

Hellmuth speaking on etiquette is kind of like stand-up comedy.

  • Bellande thought he was beat or chopping.

  • gavin smith is gonna break a bottle of scotch and stab everyone in that room lol

he is furious and who can blame him so many bullshit over a stupid hand lol

  • @TheBarbahaba yes he is, lol

  • dude ballande is right since phil alrdy mucked no need to show his hand...... if phil just said u got it and didnt muck then he would have to show his hand BC phil mucked his cards are no longer in play so ballande hand is meaningless

  • @thefarley8989 u'r wrong belland does need to show his hand and he can force hellmuth to show his hand as well

what he cant do is take the hand without showing once there was a raise and a call on the river .

at least in tournaments those are the rules and they are playing a 6 players kind of tournament with blinds going up and all .

in cash game its what ever rule you want it to be

  • @TheBarbahaba Correct, tourney rules would have both players showing their hands, albeit for different reasons. Ballande must show both cards to win the pot. Phil must show his had because he bet and was called on the river. If Phil had made the call, and Bellande showed his cards first, then Phil would not be obligated. In this case, if they're playing by those standard rules, Phil must show because he was called, and Belland must show to win the pot.

  • @300Z31 and indeed that is what's happening

but for some reason it stirred everyone in the table

    especially gavin smith lol

  • @TheBarbahaba Yeah, Gavin was NOT happy lol. But man...as much as I love Phil Hellmuth he was dead wrong about him mucking his cards. He's not allowed to. It's not often that he's wrong...but then again, everyone was wrong.

  • @300Z31 except mike who wanted to see both hands at some point

    oh well ....

  • @TheBarbahaba Oh yeah, 'The Mouth' had a point for once. I love Matusow as well lol. He's goofy, but he's knows his shit.

But you know what, these people with all their damn money...they don't have to be smart.

  • everyones an expert when the hole cards are shown

  • bellande is a fucking idiot

  • The guy in blue is Sam Grizzle (poker legend)

  • @NoodlesTBograt by poker legend you mean legendary degenerate right?

  • We thought you had 4 aces!

  • I think "Hellmouth" would be a good fight to watch. With a mouth like his, he'd have to have a lot of experience in ass kicking.

  • I was taught that you have to pay to see cards. You want to see my hand? I get to see yours. They both paid, and if Phil doesn't want to show, it's pretty much folding. Having Phil Hellmuth lecture you on etiquette is kind of like Congress lecturing you on thriftiness or Adolf Hitler telling you to be nice to Jews.

  • Ahahah playing 30 minutes at that table would be like torture... Hilarious comment at the end by Sam Grizzle though

  • Fucking jrb whys he even playing at the same table as phil. The guys got no class, same as phil, but he sux at poker. Phils 100 percent rite on this.

  • Mike Matusow is so awesome lol.

    .....NOW I WANNA SEE IT!!!

  • why would bellande not have to show his hand to win? that doesnt make sense to me

  • @DoomShallot Phil Hellmuth mucked his hand after he got called by Bellande. Position matters the most in this game. If Phil had shown and Bellande's hand was weaker, Bellande is allowed to muck. In this case, Phil had mucked and he was first to act, so Bellande is allowed to not show his hand. You gotta pay (in this case, reveal your cards) if you're first to act in order to see your opponent's cards.

  • fkin deal is that phil should show his hand first, then bellande becuz he just call!

  • fuck that... if phil shows his hand then he has to... if phil doesn't then he doesn't have to

  • Hellmuth is just complaining about all this stuff because he doesn't want to reveal his bluff, but wants to see JRB's cards at the same time.

  • @cylcrkhljc as a standard thing of poker, you have to show the winning hand. you can muck the losing hand.

  • fat son of a duck

  • morons me no watche those dick again

  • The same thing hapened to me in a spanish casino, I won, the guy threw his cars so I threw mine. After 15 minutes argument the split pot for both of us.. that SUCKS!

  • @fumarel87 that's a BS ruling but i daresay u deserve it for acting like an asshole.

  • @zwamman anyway your mother is still a cunt hahahahahhahaha

  • haha matusow " I want to see them both ! "

  • Gavin is hilarious!

  • JRB can't call $1,500? Hell, he eats that much in a day.

  • 2:20 forward motion?

  • @ToddKobrin questionable but good spot he was watching phil's reaction

  • gosh sound like a bunch of women!

  • What could be more ironic than Hellmuth, of all people, lecturing about poker etiquette? Then he gets uber-rude and makes a big deal out of the guy playing by the rules. He called, Phil. Just turn you danged hand up.

  • @JiveDadson Well...not really. Very important to differentiate between etiquette and rules. It is poor etiquette to ask to see a players hand who says, "You got it," after they get caught bluffing. Correct etiquette when you call a bluffing player and he says, "you got it," is to flip your hand, bask in the glory of your hero call while the other guy gets to muck his hand.

  • Lol this is most annoying table in poker history.

  • @sanguinarius2 I could consistently beat you in poker, heads up, if you played me for more than 300 hands. Sorry that you won't accept my challenge, but whatever, that's how losers roll, huh?

  • CARDS CARDS CARDS CARDS

  • Jean Robert is right. period.

    at least in europe...

  • iT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. truth is that Bellonde doesn't have to show, thats the truth.

  • 6 fishes, dream table

  • bellande play poker really good i like the way he play poker

  • Sam Grizzle.."We thought you had 4 Aces" haha.

  • The winner has to show the WINNING HAND. Story over.

  • Fuck Etiquette

Phil Made A Shitty Bluff And Wants To Get Away Without Showing His Shitty Hand.

  • are they 9?

  • Whoever the guy in the blue is, he's a fucking idiot.

  • gavin smith, "IF THIS IS HOW ITS GONNA BE IM LEAVING!!" who the fuck cares?

  • @leeroyjetsonsbitch he was mocking phil noob

  • @Juntahh actually dick head he wasnt, he said in an interview during the show he was sick of these guys holding up the game like this and was ready for walking off, so jog on!

  • @Juntahh When you call someone a dumbass, you should use correct grammar. Just letting you know.

  • @leeroyjetsonsbitch your a dumb ass, you dont know what im referring to if you did youd stfu

  • if i was bellande and that old fuck talked to me like that, then called me a cheap limit player to my face i wouldve shoved two 1k chips in his eye sockets and broke that drink over his head
