@Robloxianzz I cannot make a tutorial without knowing the actual problem, the information you're providing isn't enough, sorry.

Typically screenshots can be taken by pressing the print-screen button on your keyboard and pasting that in a document, e.g. in Paint or something similar.

Windows Vista and up also provide a program called "Snipping Tool" that can be utilized for taking screenshots.

Helloes!

The updater utilizes Internet Explorer, hence you should do it through Internet Options in Control Panel, even if your default is anything other than Internet Explorer.

Typically though, the last step works fine.

Thanks, but this game is unplayable. I followed every instrucion: your video, installing patch, installing mircrosoft framework, installing windows updates, manual update, changing dat files, installing runtime, etc... but everytime I start the launcher, it says: RUNTIME ERROR. Everytime I open the client I get: AN ERROR HAS OCCURED. They should call it Alpha, not Beta.

I'm really sorry that it's not working for you. Runtime error is very ambiguous, but there's this application called SMT Utils made by Mexmer, it's basically a third party patcher, it works really awesomely.

As for the second error, is there an error code with that, like "Error 10009" or something similar?

Help please, at 1:44 it seems your requesting us to open the ImagineUpdate.dat with "Open With" but that option doesn´t appear when I right-clik! How can I make it appear?

Yo I followed your guide and the steps necessary, but I keep getting errors. Straight after I changed patch to origin I ran the updater and it all went smoothly. I hit play game and then an error came up saying it couldn't find ImagineClient.exe. After I ran it a second time I got a error saying it failed to extract a file. After a THIRD time I started getting mismatch errors again.

Before attempting your method, I followed the recommendations made by aeria staff. I deleted the ImagineUpdate.c

i had a little bit of trouble with the the video...so in my frustration i just started the imagine client from my program files...and the game started...which confuses me...is there a reason for that...

@lilmikehokage That's supposed to happen. When you click the "Play Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE Online" link in the start menu, it launches ImagineUpdate.exe

ImagineUpdate.exe checks if all files are up to date, if not it attempts to update.

If the check shows that the files are updated or if the update succeeded, it proceeds to make the button "Play Game" clickable. When you click "Play Game" ImagineClient.exe launches.

However, you can't login if ImagineClient isn't up to date.

It's under downloads at the Megaten website.
