@TheHappiHolidayz Um, I didn't know Mumford & Sons ever claimed to corner the folk music market....besides, M&S are British; while there's plenty of American-style influence in their work, they're coming from a different cultural history, and a different folk heritage.

@TheHappiHolidayz Mumford & Sons are just as folk as The Avett Brothers. The Avett's add a nice country twang, but they are very similar. Also, Marcus Mumford's accent adds a different sort of flair to M&S.

I saw them (the first time) a few years ago in Columbia MO. They opened for BR5-49. BR5-49 is no more so The Avett's are now my favorite band. Best wishes to Bob Crawfords little girl!
