Final Fantasy MQ was the first RPG gasme I beat without my brother help. I never could beat 1 or 3 simply because I was too young. I beat this game when I was 8. Fantastic times and the music is still superb.

I think mystic quest, while not the best FF game, is a great game for people new to the RPG format and want something quick and easy. The only real complaint I can think of against it is that it's a bit short and probably could have been twice or three times as long.

Also I love it how the Japanese rerelease totally made Ben, the hero of the game, into a super deformed chibi as opposed to the original art cover.

The game was designed to introduce American gamers to RPG's (Which was dumb to begin with since we already had played Final Fantays I on the NES). Hence the easy and short game and the rock n' roll style music.

1.Because 12 has the same fighting system as 11. The only diffrence being that they added in cut scenes for dramatic effects. They even trasnfered over mobs from 11 into 12.

2. 10 is filled with gayness. The whole movtive of Tidus is to find his father who he constantly complains that is better than him and how he will help yuna defeate sin because his dad help her dad.

3. SO 1 and 2 were very orginal for their time. 3 looked more fan yaoi based. Just look at Abel.

3. For their time, indeed. What time is it now? 2009. SO1 and SO2 play like crap and have aged like milk. Fan Yaoi only claimed Albel, admittedly. the other character designs were purely reasonable.

FFIX is amazing, in my opinion. Much more of a complete and well-rounded story than VII. It actually focuses on every character and develops them throughout the course of the entire game as opposed to VII, concentrating on two main assholes.

Star Ocean 4 is better than Star Ocean 3... A lot of games are better than FFVII... But VII is a True mid Era Classic... Just like Chrono Trigger, Secret OF Mana and Terranigma were Old Era Classics.

Games that are 'the best' are not judged on aethetics and techs.. but on impact of the Gaming Period. Hence the intense awesome that was Zelda: OoT... TP is a better Game, but OoT was far more in terms of moving Gaming fowards.

My mom got me this game when I was around 12, because Final Fantasy 3(6) came out, but was sold at the time, one of the first games to have a situation like that. So my mom got me this so I had some kind of Final Fantasy for my bday. Inside, I felt a bit let down, not at my Mom lol, but at the situation. FF3 had a LOT of hype back in those days, and this one was getting crap reviews. All I have to say, after all these years is exactly what I told her when she gave me the game. Thanks mom. :)

Oh my god... I remember this game from like 4th grade. For such a forgettable game, it really had a good soundtrack. This one still gets stuck in my head to this day and this game, no matter how bad, has a special place in my heart for all the hours I spent screwing around with it when I was little and didn't know any better.
