  • can you make a video covering back squat form? reguarding bar placement? i sometimes get wrist and slight shoulder pain after heavy squats

  • Really liked this instructional vid, good explanation. How many sets and reps do you normally aim for on a movement like this? been trying regular squats but always find that I lean forward too much and it ends up working my lower back more than my quads. This movement looks like an interesting alternative to try.

    Good vids, keep them coming for deadlift etc.

  • You should have mentioned how squatting like this shifts tension to the teardrop muscle of your quad.

  • I dont have a squat rack at my gym so these are perfect, and they look so much cooler than normal squats! : )

  • The "Zercher Squat" ?? Please. That's going a little too far, don't you think? Definitely WAY more pressure on the lower back and joints in the elbow than could possibly be benefiting the legs.

  • @ScrapNfight What do you mean WAY more pressure on lower back? Of course there will be pressure on the lower back, Thats the whole purpose of it, To stabilise the spine. We use the lower back alot in real life so why not train them?

  • We asked both of the fat ass trainers @ our gym what Zercher squats were, and they didn't have a clue. I'm getting better training tips/info from these vids than I can get anywhere!
