  • i prefer chips and fish

  • I think at least 80% of the viewers knew the answer before it even passed her lips.

  • @ferretsrcrunchy, how? What do you mean? Please explain.

  • I can only eat fish and chips when it's covered in curry.

  • You have got to be joking!!!!

Why did they even post that question if the answer was that simple????

  • Thanks for all the answers. I think haddock is the best for fish and chips !!! Glad it's popular in Scotland too. I'm not so much a fan of monkfish though.

  • Cod is probably the most popular battered fish in the UK, followed by haddock

  • In England cod is more popular and cheaper than in Scotland. In Scotland haddock is the most popular and is cheaper than in England.

  • Come and have Fish and chips in the Netherlands, we will take you to the best in Scheveningen!:-)

  • HOERA VISSEN :D

  • My favorite too. But it has to be Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips and no other

  • FISH N CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Had fish and chips in Toberone harbourside a few years ago which I understood was an award winning mobile chippie. Here in S. Devon cod used to be most common, I think, However a fresh peice of haddock takes some beating. I had monk fish once at Rich Stiens Padstow, very nice of course. Rock salmon or catfish is o.k. bit cheaper I suppose and seems a bit courser but I believe Haddock to be best all rounder, most delicate and suculant in my humble opinion. P.S. Susan can sing!

  • "Fish and chips"... j'en étais sûre xD

  • oh my goodness, she is just too cute! haha

  • MINE TOO

  • Does anyone know what kind of fish is used for fish and chips in Scotland or what kind of fish is popular there in general? (ie. in the USA - Maine usually uses haddock or cod, Midwest probably uses catfish mostly, etc). Just wondering.

  • I would say Haddock, but in the U.K Cod and Flounder is also quite common for fish and chips :) x
