maybe people should set up a donations for the disabled program. Higher taxes will just speed up the mass exodus of industry from California put it's economy into a death spiral. California needs cut redundant red tape actually deal with pension reform if it want to revive businesses confidence in california.
I'm not saying I'm happy about this, but frankly, what else is he to do? He has been slashing funds in everything save elementary education becuase California is facing the serious possibly of being the first US state to file for bankruptcy. He did say it would be painful.
Hopefully, the people will vote to raise taxes. Hopeful, the economy will pick up again. Hopeful a few past laws that are killing the state will be repealed. But if not, soon there would be no money for services anyway.
@milojthatch But, as soon as the money issues are resolved, I'd want and hope that services are picked up again ASAP. But, frankly, I don't think ANY one person who was Governor of California would not end up slashing funds. That job sucks and I wouldn't wish it on my biggest enemy.
