And at that, the wolf pounced upon the girl and devoured her, rending apart her flesh and bone, eating her alive, ignoring her screams.

Sigh..............It's been made WAY before someone pulled the ideao of killzone out their ass.
1991 was when the original version, panzercop, was released, this was released 1999. Killzone 1 was made 2004.
Big time difference. Killzone is partially inspired off of this if you read a developer diary on their site.

I think it was 1989 in Japan (although I could be wrong). The anime was a continuation of the live action Japanese film "The Red Spectacles" by the same chap who did the whole series (and incidentally Ghost In The Shell).

Japan, 1989?
Hm...reasonable answer. Actually looking it up, you're pretty right.
But then that even proves the validity of my comment even more!

Certainly does. :)
Indeed.
Although I do wonder first of all things, how the hell did the concept of ghost in the shell involve from work on Jin Roh.
It all seems so, inter-genre-bred.
An oddity,if you ask me...
nah this was out way before bro... if anything the character design for kz was based of this... no less a great choice for the devs of kz
