  • Stop PICKING ON THE KID! SHE IS LEARNING! ! Female birds can lay eggs without a male. But you do need the male to mate with the female to fertilize the eggs. This doesn't mean they will hatch out. I just had 4 baby lovebirds hatch out. Don't put your hand in the nesting box and don't touch the babies! SHE WILL KILL THEM! Then she will have to start over.

  • buy some bigger cages... stupid kid

  • You are adorable and really smart!

  • this gal is cute =]

  • Did they ever hatched

  • I mean nello

  • Has nela left because she is no longer in the videos

  • wow..

  • o.o wow you must have bird poop all over your room lol.

  • @Tijopi11 ....Hopefully your aware enough to realize that you can CLEAN bird poop, which civilized humans such as I, would do. Do you think I would just leave excrement laying all over my room? Of course no! lmao

  • @3sugarbeans You know that they are rocks...You maybe found them in your school play ground. You would never know. What happens if i had a rock.thinks its a love bird egg. Until it hatches it breaks. So honey you would never know. And were did you get them pretty birds...Spain?

  • @hinata09599 How old are you? I really hope you're just a kid because I'd really be disappointed to see a grown man/woman picking on an obviously young girl. Also, if you're not being sarcastic, I hope that you know that those are, in fact, lovebird eggs. They are, for your information, not rocks. We need more people like this girl in our society and less of people like you.

  • @seemimico shes so younger than me because im 47

  • I am shocked how young u are and the knowledge you have of your birds. My female Coral Laid her first egg yesterday hopefully fertile as she is a breeder and has her male Nemo. and this will be there second clutch.

  • my cockatiel laid some eggs but i dont know if there fertal or not because theres a male in her cage.

  • @guffins121 i am sorry this is a late comment, but you can check if an egg is fertile by shining a torch under it, and if it is see through then it is infertile, if it is not then it is fertile :)

  • my cockatiel laid some eggs but i dont know if there fertel or not

  • It looks like you have a good knowledge of your birds and take good care of them :D

Also my middle name is Kirby, it's funny.

  • You should get her a mate and raise some babies. You could sell them. You really seem to know all about them. Start yourself a little business on the side!!

  • was nello a hand tame baby when u got it? also how long have u had her? A egg can't hatch without the boy bird?

  • how in the hell did u get all thoose birds sorry cant spell to tired

  • @troisun Huh? I have three...

  • @3sugarbeans HE NEVER MENSHEND TREE

  • @troisun but you have time to tell us that.. lol jk

  • so do all femal birds lay eggs? but dont u have to have a male for them to actually hatch right?

  • @xoxostephanie101 only some do, all females can, but only if they want to. And no, the eggs dont hatch without a male, they are infertile

  • @3sugarbeans oh ok i get it. ty :) my friend had a femal bird and she never layed any eggs soo i was kinda confused.

  • @3sugarbeans oh now your starting lad im in scotland you young laddy

  • If your eggs are unfertilized, what do you do with them?

  • thats so cool wat does infertal mean?

  • @TheLilcookiemonster1 infertal means they will not hatch they are just eggs that the lovebird layed and fertal is eggs that will hatch because there was a male that mated with the love bird hope it helped

  • does the bird get stresseed out if the eggs dont hatch? What do you do with the eggs later?

  • @chiller206345 well in some ways, yes, I took her nestbox a long time ago because it just made her even more cage aggressive and it was depleting her calcium from laying so many eggs.

  • thanx for this vid! lets say a lovebird egg just hatched, i was just wondering how old do they need to be until you can handle them?

  • @SlipknotPsycho1 you can handle them within the first day if you are VERY CAREFUL and your hands are warm and for only short periods of time

  • get a male for her so u can get fertail eggs

  • i love animals too!

i have dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, lizards and also a iguana as pets!

  • should i get one? i have a dog, so . i wont get one unless its safe in my house for one. by the way, i have a black lab, and a cockapoo. should i get one? it would stay in my room, where i am alot, and id try to keep dogs out. HELP!!!

  • thx :)

  • Hello again, I wanna ask what do you use for a parakeet nest material?I always try twigs and grass but my tamed parakeet always pull it out and create a mess lol

  • @shadow1996100 i dont breed parakeets so i dont have parakeet nest material. thye necver like nything but my mom used to use corn cob litter

  • im also thinkin of making an outdoor cage in my backyard which is goin to be larger but the problem is that in winters the temperature is like 10 degrees and in summers its like close to 50, will they survive??

  • @shadow1996100 which kinf re you thinking of? prakeets? lovebirds? haha NOOO...lol...parakeets originated from Australia while lovebirds from Africa. Both warm climates. I would say it is unlikely but MAYBE if they were slowly acclimated.

  • i better not do it cause i got a dog too.... anyways are you goin to be uploading anymore videos??

  • @shadow1996100 ok thas fine. =) Yes actually i was planning on making a new one soon.

  • I some questions =)

    1) is it possible like to cross breed birds?

2.)that lovebird which was out of the cage, deosnt it poop everwhere and make a mess?

  • 1. no

    2. yes, but she only poops like every 5 min. you just have to clean it up. lol

  • just a little tip your lovebird laid thosse because maybe she is lonely please play with your bird can you make a vid on nello

  • actually, he is laying the eggs because her is telling her she wants to breed. It happens to all matured birds.

She is very aggressive and bites, HARD, so I don't exactly think she likes being held by me. =(

  • i have a question:), what do you do with the infertile egg, just leave it in there?? for ever!!

  • well, obviously no, because it will get rotten and nasty. so just take it out and throw it away.

  • my care video for parakeets will help a lot, most care is the same for ALL pet birds...most! So that should help, once you watch that, if u have anymore q's u can message me

  • can a parakeet and cockateil play together or will they fight?

  • depends on the keet and tiel

  • How did your lovebird have eggs if she doest have a male?

  • ooo srryz i dont really know about birds can yew teach me how to tame a cockatiel im getting these 5 month old babies and they rnt tamed

  • dont pick it up it wont hatch now bcuz i have 16 birds and my canarys lay eggs the first time they layed eggs i picked it up and when i asked the vet why it didnt hatch she said bcuz i picked it up and it got shaken

  • it doesn't matter silly! their unfertile! the WONT hatch! she doesn't have a male so they cant be fertile! I said that in the video like 2 times!

  • Awesome! :]

  • Great video, thanks for posting!

  • That's a great video...it's cool to see the real eggs of the lovebird! Thanks for showing us!!!
