  • i just sold short 10000 shares of citigroup and dont have to work for a very long time... suck on that america

  • one thing through is everyone else is going to be hunting and fishing as well, your best bet is get as far away from the city as possible. OR STOCK UP ON FOOD NOW!!!!!!

  • @Gyva02 Stocking up with high price food ? when you can grow a garden

raise Chickens Plant fruit trees in both in your yards but also a small

wooden area nearby Many cities will not allowed Chickens if they FIND OUT

Rotate the food that you have always eat the oldest that you have buy store

and Date the food to make sure the food dose not riot Camping is a very

Good way to save money if you also rotate your location Like the KOA Kamp sites that has Electrical and Sewer / Showers

  • I carry a .22 pistol in my ride among my protection if I see a rabbit or something, I've got a meal, in a jiffy. As a matter of fact popped one on the way home with a friend show'd her how to field dress it, and she's going to be cooking it now, for me..

  • l Love stream fishing...do it all the time in the land I live in the Adirondacks.

  • @AmericanValues321 Nice counrty over there!

  • "presentations" ??? this is the oddest lingo Ive heard used for fishing.

those are some pretty tiny fish, lol.

you should see the huge Arctic Char up here in Nunavut. They are super freaking expensive in restaurants, but free free free when you catch em!! ohhhyaaa!!

  • @Zwikster NIce, one day I plan to head over there and do all sorts of cool outdoors things. "Presentations" as in presenting the bait, lure or technique properly to better increase your chances to catch or take game.

  • Now this is the action I was talking about that was lacking from last video.

  • To avoid food stamps before we 'evacuated' from California we fished at Briones in Lafayette, Del Valle and other local freshwater areas. Fishing and hunting really are great for those who are skilled-my husband taught me a bunch of knots, how to make my own leaders (far better than store bought!) and showed me patiently how to gut and clean the fish properly. Also, plenty of warnings about natural parasites in the raw fish and prevention. Fresh foraged mustard steamed like spinach made the meal

  • @dbstube Great Stuff! Being able to self-sustain truely is a skill to be learned and so benefitial in many aspects.

  • That has to be the smallest stream with a man made water feature I have ever seen. Still good fishing though!

  • Good advice. Thanks for your video. Just don't fish in the ocean or eat fish that have been there as they are more likely to be toxic with chemicals from diluted oil spills.

  • good suggestions. also, a fish dinner can be stretched by removing the bones, grinding, adding eggs & flour, and making fritters.......

  • If It gets a bad as I believe it will.Yes people are going to starve.Prepare and take care of your family.Have exit routes out of the city preplanned.

  • I am a native Californian who escaped over 20 years ago, living in this state for 12 years The difference between the ability of people here to take care of themselves and the ability of my family and all their friends who live in Orange County is frightening.

Everytime I go home to O.C. to visit family, they are not prepared for an earthquake, let alone any social unrest. I would have two family members who are prior Marines and could/ would have to take care of the rest of them. Sigh

    Scary!

  • @NDbeautifulbadlands I just moved from O.C. in Jan of this year for this very reason. I could not leave cali bkz of my job and concern of not being able to find another one as my job is very secure. I moved to ventura county as i thought i would be better.

  • @mrmilleniumproof Look forward to upcoming vids and dvd's. I'm catering them to the beginner and providing information and techniques that would take years to learn. Don't give up on going and doing it!

  • i love fishing i fish all the time

  • You guts are going to starve. Not because of fishing because of the 30 million Californians that will fish out the waters. Then what?

  • @determinatus Most people in Cali don't know how to fish or care to... Most would panick, rob, steal, or other things that could get them killed. I guess that would be better for them than starving slowly.

  • PHILLINOS HAVE A SURVIVAL MINDSET IF THEY WERE RAISED IN THERE NATIVE COUNTRY. I KNEW ALOT OF FLIPS IN THE NAVY AND THEY COULD HUSTLE PEOPLE PLAYING POOL LIKE NOBODYS BUSINESS. THINGS ARE ALOT TOUGHER OVER THERE THAN HERE. GOOD GUYS!!!!

  • Cool Vid. G4T and Ron nice duo.

  • man the DVD is only 1 hour ? come on now !

  • @AllTheSame711 We're editing right now and I'm looking at anywhere between 1:15 and 1:45 depending on the subject. I'm not looking to "fluff" the dvd's either. They're gonna be "meat & potatoes" type series of vids and dvd's. Very informative and full of applicable scenarios.

  • @Ron90for10 Sounds good, That's what i like to hear.

  • That old Acura legend coupe is in good shape. i think it's an 87.

  • Good series.

  • that is so cool bro. wow very smart and great info for food source.

  • Yesterday, I caught a 5 pound 22 inch Steelhead Rainbow on a spawn sack. What a rush.

  • @GospelTruth777 Awsome catch! Love stealies!

  • all you need is a 70 dollar california fishing license

  • @aceyorba Actually a freshwater license plus 2nd rod stamp south of Point Conception works out to be about $50...

  • "those ducks are in my freezer"

  • Cool deal. Munch out.

  • i could not even feed my cat with those little fish !!!!!

  • @omv777 The idea isn't to feed your cat but to feed yourself if need be. But to each their own priorities... Worse case, a bunch of small fish make for a big meal. The idea is to inform and teach, not control the size of your "take" in an Urban or Natural environment...

  • Man, I don't know what was funnier. You going in those abandoned homes in Detroit or holding that rod upside down.LMAO! I needed that.

  • @baltimorejohn LOL. . . proof that all can be taught! He's my buddy and it taking it in stride. Hehehe

  • if you call those fish-you must be a city slicker--I call them bait

  • @kevreilly7 The stream feeding that pool is only a foot and a half across for a duration of 600yds upstream. During the season of course the flow is heavier. The purpose is to show that the technique and instruction can produce. Would you call them bait if you were starving???

  • @Ron90for10 point taken---but my point is you got to maximize your time and resources--setting a trap is a stronger idea b/c those little streams will get fished out pretty quick

  • DO NOT SHOP AT WALMART. Your money is going to China. Buy made in the USA only. C'mon.

  • @itillbeme even food?

  • @AllTheSame711 You can buy food at Walmart if grown in USA or better yet locally. We got to support local farmers and ranchers in the US. For example. Last week I had an early lunch at local Chinese restaurant(buffet style); Walking back to my car I saw a truck in back unloading frozen boxes food written in Chinese, and the trailer was from China. Owner was ordering his supplies from China! Was not buying local in Los Angeles.

  • @itillbeme Yes keep the US dollar home. We need the work!

  • good content george, thanks!

  • we will genetically modify them!!!!

  • at :54 "If the crap his the fan, those ducks are in my freezer" I hate to tell you, but if the crap hits the fan, your freezer has no power to keep those ducks cold. I dont know why George does all these videos as if the entire US is all of a sudden going to be living like bums one day. And $29.95 for a very low budget 1 hour video? I can buy a multimillion dollar budget hollywood movie for $19.95. How can you charge MORE for your low budget documentary?

  • @peilthetraveler The phrase you're talking about was an EXPRESSION, just like "when the crap hits the fan" is one as well. . . I'm working on editing on the videos as well. What you buy for $19.95 is ENTERTAINMENT, what you'll buy from me is information and techniques that one day can save your life, ease the amount of money that goes to your grocery bill, bond your family in outdoors activities, give you lessons to pass on and build memories that will last a lifetime... That's priceless!

  • Anybody that would eat anything caught in that "lake" already has brain damage...

George, is that your brother? Strange coincidence of appearance?

  • @JejuLee Nope, a good friend. You're missing the message of the vid...

  • Don't worry folks.........OBUMBLES will take care of EVERYTHING !

  • If you are in a situation with no food , and you catch small fish , cook them with the innards (guts) still intact and eat whole , as in eating sardines , head and all , more nurishment . Only the strong and the ones, willing to swallow their pride , will survive .

  • @tracycolorado You understand what it takes fellow survivor!

  • A "no fishing here" sign usually means the water next to that sign is high in mercury or lead or PCBs.

Be safe. Get a boat and fish in the ocean.

  • Nice vid George....Thankfully, I know where a really good catfish hole is in the river behind me....but, this entire thing sickens me. The good 'ol USA coming down to basic survival - not that I disagree with what you're doing mind you, just that we've been sold out by the PTB. Sad....sad for my little girls when I'm dead.

  • Great Great Video!!!

  • George the fishing n00000b!

The rod was upsidedown! ROTFL!!! LOL!!! ROTFL!!! LOL!!!

  • I just got back fishing down in the L.A. River. I caught two aluminum cans, three condoms, a dead puppy, and five illegal aliens. What is the limit on illegal aliens? What seasoning should I cook them in?

  • George and Ron... I'm glad you're producing this new video series. I'd like to buy the DVD when its ready. Thanks!

  • great vid george.

  • fishing (and hunting) limits and seasons would be laughable ideas in an shtf. Ever hear of "poached eggs" ?

  • @TheNewRight True that, but up until the SHTF, laws and regs have to be abided by as to not draw negative attention nor get individuals in trouble.

  • If the SHTF, you aint got a freezer bud... and its gonna be everbody for himself, so good luck getting to those water fowl. We got to get OUT of the cities and OFF the main roads...!!! I'm a fisherman as well and finding wild trout streams is not easy. We have a few up here, but once again, you're not going to be able to access these grounds to fish or hunt. Got to get out of population. Good little vid though.

    peace

  • @haarpcloud911 I've turned a few ceiling fans into windmills that charge batteries, and I've hooked them up to household appliances like a mini fridge, which would at least help to preserve those ducks for a time.

When the SHTF, if we can get power for ourselves from the wind or sun or water, we'll be better off than if we had none. Good insights man.

  • @survivingthefuture If you can carry all that shit, that's fine, I may not be able to do that, so getting books on how to survive is very important for those who cant carry alot.

We didnt always have elect. and we really dont need it to survive. Fishing hooks, line, seeds, a sharp knife and stone, a flint for making fire, snagging wire, a small crossbow is always good too...etc.. you know what I mean.

    peace

  • @haarpcloud911 - yeah it's called a propane fridge/freezer

  • @cheeple Have fun carrying all that shit around bro.

    peace

  • @haarpcloud911 This is just an intro... It would be ridiculous to be carrying all that stuff around in a SHTF scenario. Normally when stream fishing, all my tackle is carried in one pocket.

  • @haarpcloud911 "in my freezer" was just an expression. . . I agree with getting out of the population. This intro is just to get people to open their minds and think outside of the box. Thank you for your comment.

  • @Ron90for10 Are you guys brothers? I see that there are a few very interesting vids that I havent looked at yet. This is a great idea. I wish I would have thought of it before the summer ended. Hopefully I still have another year... Maybe I'll try to do a couple in the cold...lol

    peace

  • If TSHTF, you would be diggin' for worms.....

  • When the SHTF you would be diggin' for worms....

  • @bobsr3 - Did anyone here see the "dirty jobs" special where the family earns a living diggin' for worms and selling them to fishermen??? the whole family is in on it, the husband, wife and son.........

  • @bobsr3 Worms, bugs and other natural baits. . . but only after my stash of eggs and artificials are consumed, lost, or are not working.

  • I love this kind of video ~ awesome! Thank you!

  • People definitely need a basic fishing kit. We have several and are avid trout fishers. The wife and I were recently scoping out one of our bugout locations. They are little known state reservations that hardly anyone goes to and the freshwater springs and streams are amazing. In one streach, I saw several nice sized trout, probably in the two to three pound range and lots of smaller ones but I won't fish them. I'm saving those for in case we end up there.

  • @stevesmitty79 Nice! Have my spots as well. . .

  • Can we do this with urban cows? I'm going cow tipping.

  • 1:03 better shoot the ducks and run fast. Not that I'm all that informed about the gun laws in CA but unfortunately CA seems pretty draconian when it comes to guns.

  • @penguinistas - he's talking about killing them ducks in a more of a lawless state.if you were to do it with laws, you'd get arrested for discharing a firearm in public, animal cruelty, and probably a couple more laws.

  • That no fishing sign is there for a reason - - U better know what that reason is before you eat those fish and ducks - mercury poisoning is fatal

  • george is that your brother ?

  • @excaliburdd Nope, just good friends.

  • lol how much wild food do u guy'sthink there is

  • @buckodcelt This vid was created to open people's mind to available immediate food sources in a SHTF scenario. . . Not that the source will last for a duration of time.

  • Excellent! G 4 T you are at your best when covering local and regional news and strategies on how to survive these tough times.

  • You should make a DVD about the only real sustainable food source in SoCal... Human Meat. It won't be 2 weeks of empty store shelves before every dog, cat, duck and crow has been consumed by the starving masses. The plan should be to ESCAPE the population centers and then try to survive on what is available. Cache food and supplies along your escape route so you don't have to try and carry everything you need. Provide a way to defend what you do have and move at night.

  • George loved seeing you fishing! Remember most of those fish you are catching in tin streams in Southern Cal. are stocked. Nice cement pond

  • @LivingHistorySchool Actually during "trout season" there are streams that are planted with "stockers". In this case those trout are not "planters". That was not a cement pond but an area where a natural stream runs underneath a highway, that concrete section was there to help prevent erosion leading to the overpass. Just shows you that you can find fish in "uncommon" areas. . .

  • those are not fish...........those are bait.

  • @Christianprepper1 Yes they are small, but would you be saying that if you were hungry and could catch them???

  • george caught a fish.rigged

  • @limitedplay Its all about proper technique and presentation. These trout are wild and not "planters" and are out of a natural stream. . .

  • I know a spot that pulls out 18+ inch brook trout 30 miles from Philly that noone fishes cause they think the creek is too small there. You can eat any size fish. But i recommend larger ones unless you net em. Netting fish can provide alot of protien and not hurt the population because the babies mostly die anyways. Any fish less than 3in can be eaten whole. All freshwater fish are edible.

  • @mercen144 That's so true at times! Alot of people don't know what to look for when stream fishing.

  • This is the type of information i do not share with others unless they are friends and family...

  • It's always good to hang out with smart people. Always like your reports George.

  • Craps not gonna hit the fan, people are ignorant as hell these days. They are all fat, stupid, etc etc. 4 billion people live everyday like this but Americans are brain washed fatties over consuming pigs. Just live your life people and stop living in fear. Use critical thinking, logic and awareness. Wake up people.

  • @charlesfuchs HAHA You kidder!

  • If you are going to try this check with your local DNR. In my area around the Detroit River/ Lake Erie, there are many fish species you can only eat rarely because of the pollution levels around.

Not a bad idea if SHTF but still do your research because you may end up harming yourself more than helping.

  • @BigBobsh2o Yes very true! Again, in this vid, the info is provided for if the SHTF.

  • Many small fish make a big supper!

  • I can't catch a fish for shit, I don't get it...Also, I thought you can only keep certain amount of fish, right?

  • @youcrossingme me either, after this series you'll be fine

  • @george4title Fishing and hunting has a very low succes rate. To save energy trapping the game is a better bet for survival. Fishing nets can be purchased and jugs can be put out. Snares can catch birds, etc.

  • @Hellfireblogs Trapping is another great idea to survive and will be covered in the future. There's a reason why hunting and fishing have a low success rate. On average 90% of the game taken are harvested by 10% of the people out there. The reason being the individual's skills sets. Never had a problem producing myself. Thanks for mentioning trapping. That can be an artform in itself!

  • @youcrossingme Try dynamite or grenades .........lol

  • @3939steve good idea, where do I get the grenades or dynamites? Walmart maybe? They might have them at Target, you think? lol

  • @youcrossingme you turn the fish in and they pay you. these fish are predators and would kill all the salmon runs off if allowed to flourish. This is why they do this. If you turn in the fish and do not eat them, and follow the rules....there is NO limit. The only limit is I think it only can be done between May and November (I think).

  • @SuperScreamingEagle really? I never heard of this before...Is this happenin in all states? what fish are predators, Im confused...

  • Good series.

  • @airborne373 thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperScreamingEagle up here is where?

  • Comment removed

  • @george4title He may be talking about oregon.

  • @SuperScreamingEagle Ya, where is "here"? Would love to know.

  • @SuperScreamingEagle - hey man private message me this info, what state? who do I call?

  • @SuperScreamingEagle What? Where is up here is right...!

    peace

  • @haarpcloud911 i PMd you.

  • @SuperScreamingEagle Thank You Very Much... I would love to get out that way next May through September.

    peace

  • Southern CA is a little bit of a booger when it comes to water quality. There is so little fresh water that most small urban creeks are highly contaminated, I think I'd rather drink from my toilet bowl than eat a fish from my local Aliso Creek here in southern OC. Granted, that's of small consequence if you're really hungry.....

  • @imchet the urban part of the tutorial is for a crap hits the fan scenario

  • You both look alike. Are you related?

  • @caganb nah just friends

  • @caganb No relation, just good friends.

  • Do you not need a fishing permit? How much do they cost?

  • @EndTheMatrix yeah pretty inexpensive

  • @george4title They're nearly $100 in Ireland for the rivers but free for the sea. It's cheaper to buy fish. You'll never catch 100$ worth in a year unless you did it full time.

  • @EndTheMatrix very sad

  • Yes! You do. Please don't poach, know the regulations and help sustain our fisheries. Of course in and urban survival situation, that's different....

  • Good Idea, but don't you think with millions of "refugees" that would contribute to over fishing/hunting in those areas? I really don't think that that ecosystem could handle even 100's of thousands of people fishing and hunting. The whole reason why we have the DNR is to protect the "homeostasis" of those ecosystems. Great video for a subtle collapse, but for a full-scale collapse those food resources would be obliterated.

  • @WeAreChangeQC i think your missing my point, direct access to your food sources is a good mindset

  • love those videos.

  • Great stuff. G4T. Thanks.

    1.49 Whats camping? LOL.

  • BUY GOD/SILVER I own a 101.3 troy oz of silver worth $2,400
