@sof1map you are pretty much right, except a two door is stiffer and sometimed slightly lighter, will it make a big difference? i don't know.

What is with the 4 doors people! I live in Canada and I had an 73 RX2 Coupe. I don't think I've ever seen a 4 door up here. I'm kinda glad though, 4 doors are great when you need to pick up your Grandma but if you want to go fast you gotta go with the coupe!

@ThePopcyclePete 4 doors are actually lighter then the 2 doors as the 2 doors needed added stiffness so the chassis was double skinned and a side intusion bar added in the rear quaters

@driftkid549 You will have to provide proof of that in order for me to believe it dude. There are not too many cases of 2dr cars being heavier than their 4dr counterparts. Even if it is true (which I doubt) the coupe is just a better looking car in my opinion.

hey,i bought a 1972 rx2 in 1983 and it had the rear door handles shaved as well. it really makes a difference in looks with that one detail. yours looks super clean. they handle pretty well if you beef up the front suspension.
