  • very very very good!!! :) Fantastic!

  • Cool!

  • questa è una bella canzone, voglio impararla!!!.

  • I love this piece so much, even after numerous time of listening, it's still my favourite, & I like this tempo too, well done!

  • Nicely played

  • Beautiful. I loved this tempo.

  • Muito sinistro... a música de Schumann é eterna. E essa música, traumerei, é lindíssima!

  • I agree that it's a little bit slow)

i noticed that every person on youtube plays this work with his own tempo

  • I love his playing. from Japan.

  • can you please tell me what the demo is thats at the C after middle C? (an octave higher then middle C right?) That would be GREAT! i've been looking for the song forever! thanks!!!!

  • a bit slow, but who am I to critique? I think you did a wonderful job with a piece I adore.

    nice job

  • tooooo sloooooow.

Nobody pays attention of the given tempo!!!!!

  • A little slow but still good overall

  • beautiful!

  • I liked really that tempo, cantabille was very good. I think tempo and piannissimos and fortes in this particular piece of music must be totaly ad libitum. Very well done.

  • well done, I love Schumann's Traumerei. My lovely

  • Can you tell me please what notes you played on both hands on the chord at 2:36? You play the whole thing as a single chord and not as a few really quick notes, just like Horowitz does on a video here on YouTube. I very much prefer it like that (like yours). So what notes did you play, please?

  • This here is the order of notes I am also give the proper octave being as the chord is a little over 3 octaves,

    g2, B2, b3, f4, g5, d5, A5

    yes the B's are natural

    I hope this helps :-)

  • hey! again! lol

  • this is sooooo beautiful, I cried when I heard that, I love Schumann, I love you!!!

thank you so much for this treasure!!

  • I have to say, when I read "some" of the above comments it makes me laugh, who do these people think they are!

I have just been listening to various artists playing this music, pro and none pro, they all play it different. Its called artistic interpitation!

I play this on the cello and the three piano players I play it with, all have a different slant on how to play it, regardless of how Schuman wrote it.

    Keep it up John.

  • if the composer wanted performers to play whole piece ad libitum in tempo, he would wrote it down in the scores ... musically nice, but You don't play the Schumann ....

  • in some parts u pause too long

  • well played. The tempo is just nice.

  • Nice job. I didn't know it was supposed to be that slow. I wish there were a Web site showing tempos (metronome) for various piano pieces. I'm a relative beginner, and designations such as "andante" don't help me much. Maybe more sheet music and piano books should indicate a bpm range.

  • well done it was the first piece i learned and still my favorite

  • I love this piece. My partner plays it also. Thanks for the performance.

  • the tempo is perfect. I really like your interpretation. well done!

  • Thanks so much! I love this piece, don't you?
