@cubsrock10997 no, I got my Droid 2 and it is not preloaded, I played with swype on my girlfriends mytouch through t mobile, and it was great, I'm busting my ass trying to figure out how to get it.

ive successfully done everything, everything went fine....but when i actually go to use swype now. it dont register the words for me, exp i type in mom. and it just blinks at me. around the keyboard lights up blue. but nothing registers. did i do something wrong?

install went fine, but as soon as I went to use it I got a notification saying that the trial was over and need to download the actual app. When are they gonna make an app for the damn A855 that ACTUALLY works/runs on the A855 droid?

This one is a .zip file so you'll have to do it by downloading to your computer, unzipping, syncing to your phone.

I wanted to know like how do I forward messages orr send multiple messages to people at once. Also is there a way to tell what apps are always running and to like to them off when im not using them?

To send multiple messages just tap back in the "To" box and type in another name.

And to see programs running u can download an app for free called advanced task killer in the market.

I tried doing this and got halfway through the steps but Im not good with computers so when I hooked up my phone nothing happened I already extracted the files and hit mount on the phone but Im still lost do you know when the official swype keyboard wil be released becuase Im horrible with computers even with your simple instructions im still not sure i did everything right

There's the big difference between andriod and iphone os. You can't check the "unknown sources" box with an iphone. Great video.

try out Shapewriter Keyboard. It's in the market and it is free until Jan 31. I'm not sure how much they used to charge, but judging from the comments it was a lot. For me, Shapewriter>>>SwypeIT...for now anyway
