Thank you! Very helpful! ~ I could not figure out from the knitting book I have what to do! ~ I will now be able to finish my scarf (First real knitting project!) and start my sons scarfs! :)
awesome now i can cast off the scarf i was making thanks so much but do you know how to knit a hat to go along with the scarf cuz i still got an extra pair of yarn left XD but yea thanks a lot n.n
ADS;FLASHDFLKJ. <- my excitement THANKS SO MUCH! I've been looking for how to do this for a while now thanks... i literally have 3 unfinished scarves because of my issue of not being able to cast off. xD
My knitting is *not* very skillful (yet) but thanks to this clear and concise instruction, I can "bind off" with the best of them! On behalf of all the future recipients of my efforts....I thank you.
I picked up a How to Book at a Yard sale, Began a baby blanket for one of my Grand daughers and was dismayed to realize the instructions on how to bind off were not in the book! Your video was wonderful. I watched it a few times and finished the blanket in a flash! Thank you so much for the Help!
This was invaluable ~ thank you so much! I haven't knitted for a couple of years & went totally blank when it came time to cast off ~ although I knew it was something to do with lifting a stitch over the one in front. I tried to work it out myself without success & as not many people knit any more I might have had to wait a while until I found a friend who knew what I was talking about! lol
Thank you sooooooooooooooo much!! All the other bind off's I've seen look to confusing and I haven't been able to follow them since I'm a newbie. Yay! I'll finally be able to finish my stuff!!
Great video! Thank you so much for posting this. I just finished my 2nd ever knitted project and I had already forgotten how to cast off. Your video made it very easy to understand and you were easy to follow.
thanks so much ive been trying to learn how to cast off, but their was no easy to follow instructions for beginers, this saved me i no longer have to keep asking my mum to cast off now :)
Wow, you r the most aweesomest person on youtube, probably. We have a humanitarian service project at school, and since i'm the only one knitting, no one can teach me how to bind off the final stitch. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm making a shirt for my cat, haven't done it in about a year * or knitted period in about a year* so I was a li'l rusty and forgot the initial steps.. Lol I can remember how to make a cable, but not how to bind that baby off hahah. I remember when I first learned how to knit on youtube, and I have to hand it to you, your instructions where far slower and more explanatory, I was happy to not have to stop the tape to catch up. Wonderful job.,
@tobiosnmakky Yeah I'm always making things for animals. Be it a rat or cat Sweater to blankets and birthing pads. anything to help the li'l things enjoy the world a li'l better is more then worth my time and efforts ^^.
Nice to the point video. Hadn't done needlepoint in years, but everything came back to me as I proceeded. The only issue was to remember the bind off and this video took care of that. Thank You !
Thank you so much. I'm a 23 year old who usually gets nan to cast on and off and she tried to explain to me on the phone but it was no good. You really helped mr out with making a bag for my injection pump which is attached to me 24/7 so now I'm pretty pleased with myself. Xxx
awesome...always wondered what to do with the last stitch.... I wasn't sure if i had to pull the last string through the last loop or not! thanks a lot !
Thank you so much, I do apprecitate your help. I am a new knitter & only pray that I will soon knitt with ease as you do. I enjoyed watching your video & found it very helpful. thanks again!
Thanks so much Allison! This is the first scarf I've ever knit and you've made it so easy casting off. It was a very simple method and easy to understand. Thanks again!
Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it. I spent awhile finishing up my scarf tonight, and this is all I needed. Again, thanks, it was very straightforward and easy to understand.
Thanks a Million! I've been wanting to learn to knit for years, but could never follow any of the instructions in books (those pictures are awful). You saved me $30 and a lot of time by not having to take a class at the craft store. THANKS!
