As the keyboard has electronic and soldered components I do not recommend this at all better to take your time open it up clean and dry it and put back together very safe, very easy and it will work. Doing this over time can degrade the soldered areas of the internal parts and degrade performance or even brake your keyboard. The costs of running a cycle in your dishwasher will be more than buying a brand new keyboard think about it ;)
wash wash wash your little keabord, wash wash wash it up like it never have been washed before, and ´don't dry it clean, just start you computer and then plug your wet keyboard in and se what will happen leave some soap on the plug-in contact i hope you get a shock if you do that silly one
I prefer to remove the electronic components then wash and dry it. No need to wait 7 days. But I pop the keys off and put them in the cutlery basket with a cup on top to prevent them from coming out, so everything gets a better wash.
I can believe this, I spilt a drink all over my keyboard and it works great, still. The newer ones have the holes under the keys where the excess stuff can drain out

Like your note on facebook...
Heated dry - off
No soap
Dried for over 7 days
Only the keyboard was in the dishwasher, no dishes along with it
Also show more of the process (like this is me putting it in. This it during day 3, this is it during day 366, etc).
