I have a problem with Pat. I really respect his fighting mentality but he says a lot of things that are way off mark. When Diaz fought Shamrock he said that he thinks Diaz has as good as hands as most professional boxers. I couldn't believe he said that! While Nick has good hands as an MMA fighter, he will never touch the ability of a professional boxer that trains 100% of the time on hands only. Watching Nick strike and watching pro boxers strike is like night and day.

MMA'ers use a specific style of boxing because 1) To avoid the take down 2) Avoid losing a leg (regular boxing stance = very easy to take out a leg) 3) Much smaller gloves etc.
