  • That is a great observation, and the clay should never take the place of a properly vented space, especially a bathroom. What the clay helps to eliminate is physical condensation of vapor on a wall, in a bathroom. Once the space humidity drops, natural movement of the vapor continues, rapidly, allowing the wall and the space to reduce the propensity for mold growth.

    Seems like it would be a better idea to get rid of excess moisture by ventilation, rather than by absorption into the walls.
