Hes other younger son is Highlord darion mograine which balnazzars crusade corrupted, as in scourge. Darion is really known since WoTLK Knowing to be DK leaders, Renault mograine is just SM Boss. Read about lore its fantastic

@Gunitbow Almost correct. Renault was the one corrupted by "Balnazzar's crusade". Balnazzar made a deal with Kel'Thuazad to get the current Ashbringer (Alexandros) killed by telling his son Renault (a power hungry and idiotic son at that) that if he killed his father he'd get to wield the Ashbringer. He slew his father with the Ashbringer after he dropped it causing it to become corrupted and his father to become a death knight. Later Darion stabbed himself with it to free his father's soul.

This weapon was the most unique weapon in WoW. Blizzard made a mistake of taking it out. I had it, and I cherished it. I loved going to Scarlet Monestary, and doing that little event. I miss this shit blizz, where has the fun gone? Now it's just a mixed up lore that you dont even have half of it right. It's just Black Dragonz Black Dragonz, Deathwing, Alexstrazsa, TWILIGHT CULT Black dragonns. It's ridiculous. I stopped playing wow because you dont have your own facts straight blizz.

you cannot get it any more it was removed in patch 3.0.1 i believe it became corrupted when darrion took it up and slew his father and then killed himself and was resurrected by the lich king to become a death knight and the voice is not of the lich king its kel'thazud because he remade the sword corrupted for darrion

Darion later led a group or argent dawn soldiers into nax and defeated the 4 horseman, but lost all of the other soldiers. he reclaimed the ashbringer from his father's dead deathknight body. at a battle in wich kel'thuzad was leading, darion jumped into the fray. Darion killed himself with the sword releasing the spirits of vengeful soldiers. and his last words were "i love you dad".

A friend of mine has the corrupted ashbringer. If you havn't heard of the event in Scarlet monestary, search it. Its so sick. WHen you walk through, all the scarlets kneel before the wielder of the sword. I've seen the event in person...Its the most bad ass thing I've ever seen in wow.

The ashbringer was slightly tainted by mograines son using it to kill him. angery that he couldnt use it his son got rid of it later Kelthuzad rezzed mograine and mograine took the blade and it was corrupted his other son Darion took it and killed himself to release his fathers soul and then yadyada wotlk lore

Note for those who enjoy listening to these and other whispers There is an addon that plays a random whisper every 1 minute called whisper Gulch. And u could also make an item in GHI to play the whispers for you, i made 2 with diffreent delays however trust me when i say if u set a "2" delay after every whisper it sounds like the mind of somebody insane0.0 (wow big commentXD)
