WOW this brings me all the way back to the original metroid prime ! I still have my blue game cube, gonna reacquaint my self with ol samus again. But yeah ( reading the guys comment up top ) this game was difficult but i love it. i beat it twice but got the book to catch what I missed and made it easier to beat it.

I love the Metroid games! Been a fan since Super Metroid and cant get enough of them. I just played Prime 2 on the MP trilogy for the Wii for the first time in YEARS! and its the Prime series own Majoras Mask, its darker, more twisted and more mature but you will have people who will love it or hate it. I personally love it just like Majoras Mask, but I like the first Prime game that TINY TINY bit more. Just like Ocarina of time, I like it the tiniest bit more than Majoras Mask

I DONT GET WHY A LOT OF PEOPLE DIDNT LIKE THIS GAME!!! The music was best out of all the metroid games! I loved the story mode with light and darkness! I hate how everyone is like "oh that game was way too hard. Im glad they made it easier in the wii version." IT'S A GAME!!! Games aren't supposed to be easy! I agree with you. This is a true metroid indeed. That's the way that is. you are on the planet and fuck you, no help to you, no support to you, only samus, planet and creatures, nothing more. @RiksRiks21 apparently they did when they first announced the trilogy on wii and in my opinion I think its way easier than the original. With the wii it makes the shooting and locking on targets a lot easier than the gamecube. This game might cost about $15 at gamestop if you want the gamecube version. BUT HEY WHAT THE HELL BUY BOTH!!! :D

Well get a Wii. If you still have the game u can beat it on there and not miss out. I had the EXACT SAME problem. To Metroid rocks it's the fact that she got used to the bottom. In Prime 3, she has a new ship where she enters from the bottom. And it's a Chozo technology. The Morph Ball, I mean. She's not all human. She's got Chozo DNA, and later Metroid DNA in Fusion.

I have a question: Have you played Echoes on the Trilogy-collection for the Wii? If yes, how is the Hypermode difficulty in Trilogy compared to the regular mode in Echoes for the Gamecube?

(See, I have only played Echoes(Gamecube) on the regular difficulty and am eager to revisit Echoes on Trilogy, though hopefully without having it be significantly easier. I loved the high difficulty)

i'm sorry, but this game was definately NOT harder than the first metroid prime. depends on what you mean as in harder. if you mean harder to survive, then hell no. if you mean harder to follow-up through the game, then that's a maybe since echoes prolly has the most puzzles in any of the prime games, and none of 'em are in any way ocarina-of-time puzzles, if you know what i mean.
