  • I just love there silly accents! If i go there ill talk to anyone!

  • lol insecure bitch could have got owned

  • lol

  • I wonder why she was wearing that costume though? It was a jungle green grass suit in the red brick suburbs of melbourne.... Hmmmm. LOL!

  • It was probably her usual uniform. She doesn't really need to use camouflage to hide from the kangaroo.

  • This makes us look so bad... This is the perfect video to explain stereotypes. Except it's real.

  • "What" makes who "look so bad?"

I thought it was a great video; showed the animal being safely captured without injury. If it wasn't for trained experts like the Animal Rescue people in the video, others would all be out with their guns blasting away!

What "stereotypes" are you referring to? Since I'm not from Australia, I must be missing something. More info, please...

  • Dumb Aussies chasing kangaroos around the city streets and having lots of trouble trying to catch it. Like the police have nothing better to do. That's what it portrays.

  • blacky05hotmail: "Like the police have nothing better to do. That's what it portrays."

This video shows ANIMAL CONTROL capturing a kangaroo without injuring it. Makes Aussies look pretty good.

Where I live people and the police would have just used that animal for target practice! A young, migrating black bear was killed a year ago in just that way. People were very upset about it. I was very impressed by this video. Never fear that this is making anyone look "bad." To the contrary.

  • I don't get that stereotype at all, and I've lived in both the US and Australia. I was thinking how cool it was that they try to rescue the animal rather than shoot it. Where's "dumb" . . . or are you projecting?

  • I didn't say they ARE dumb. I said they LOOK dumb chasing a kangaroo around. Well, I think that's what I meant. It was 9 months ago.

  • Oh, I missed where it said "looks dumb." I thought it said, "Dumb Aussies chasing kangaroos around the city streets and having lots of trouble trying to catch it. Like the police have nothing better to do. That's what it portrays."

  • Yeah you should have probably looked a bit harder then shouldn't you.

  • love it lol

  • What an animal! Wish we had these bouncing around in the States as they are fascinating to watch. Thanks to whoever down under for sharing this.
